The paper "Impacts of Oil and Gas on Nigerian Economy" is a wonderful example of a research paper on macro and microeconomics. The background study of the identified research problem concentrated on the impacts of oil and gas on the Nigerian economy. As a result, it has been observed that the oil and gas sector has both a positive as well as a negative impact on the Nigerian economy. The research project has been conducted with the intention of determining the impact of the oil and gas sector on the Nigerian economy.

Furthermore, to obtain a critical understanding of the research problem, the oil and gas sector has been studied in this research. A qualitative approach has been used for analyzing data of the study through literature review, interview and case study. A sample of five managers was considered for collecting primary data. The results obtained through the study revealed that the oil and gas sector has both a positive as well as a negative influence on the Nigerian economy. Additionally, the dependency of the economy has increased for the GDP growth rate.

Thus, diversification of the government measures and support is required to be segregated in different sectors.This particular study is about analyzing the impact of oil and gas on the Nigerian economy. In this chapter, the objectives and aims of the study are presented. In addition, this chapter also comprises a brief outline of the chapters that have been discussed for ascertaining the objectives and aims of the study. In this respect, the chapter provides an overall understanding of the research subject through a review of literature, research approach, and case study analysis.

The collected data were analyzed and interpreted with the intention of having a better understanding of the research subject. Accordingly, based on the interpretation appropriate recommendations were provided for improving the oil and gas sector, which in turn will assist in enhancing the Nigerian economy.1.2. Project BackgroundIn the present scenario, the government of different countries has been formulating economic policy for the development of a sector. The economic policies are developed for identifying the desired objectives as well as procedures based on which such objectives can be attained.

Currently, the oil and gas sector is identified as the most important segment accountable for the growth of an economy.
