My qualifications in degree courses related to economics have also encouraged me to apply for a master’s degree in economics. I am a holder of an Honors degree in Finance with an Accounting minor, which I attained from the University of Qatar. While studying my degree course, I gained skills that are necessary for any student who would like to pursue a post-graduate degree in Economics. My experience as a student at the University of Qatar gave me a strong foundation that will guide me through when I commence my economics degree in New York. I possess diverse academic knowledge in the banking sector, capital markets, as well as international finance. This knowledge will supplement what I will learn when I begin studying an economics degree. The ability to speak and read fluently in English is a requirement for students who wish to study an economics degree in the United States. Since I am fluent in written and spoken English, I will study the degree without any barrier in communication.
The experience I have in the field of economics will give me an opportunity to study the postgraduate course without any difficulties. In the past, I have worked in the field of economics where I played the role of an economist. In my current department, I have worked with people who have professional qualifications in economics. For example, I have worked with PhD holders who have diverse experience. The professionals have worked in international organizations such as the World Bank, and other international agencies such as the Asian Development Bank.
