His hot temper serves as the source of admiration for the romantic audience and makes him capable to experience deep love, but it cannot be considered normal from the point of view of anyone having at least a bit of common sense. In fact, Romeo lacks reason and moderation.

By using Thomas Irving as his primary source for factual information regarding the raid on Dresden, Vonnegut inadvertently may have included a great deal of untruth in his story regarding the motivation and reasoning behind the attack but uses this early assumption as a key ingredient in developing his concepts of the futility of revenge.
Earlier in Act II, Scene 2 Hamlet discusses the play once seen by him in the city. “…it was, as I received it, and others, whose judgments in such matters cried in the top of mine, an excellent play, well digested in the scenes, set down with as much modesty as cunning,” – recollects he, pointing to the way the plays should be written and demonstrating his interest in theater and tastes.
Notwithstanding his bright mind, Hamlet obviously lacks insight. Due to this, he makes mistakes. He cannot kill Claudius during his prayer. Hamlet is deceived by his eye, while the scene demonstrates that Claudius is a good actor. Further, Hamlet, deceived by his ear, kills Polonius, who forgets his role and gives away his presence in the room.

Throughout this epic poem, the importance of the father/son relationship and the continuity of generations is stressed as being key elements in the success or failure of a family, particularly as each generation progresses through the essential stages of the hero myth and provides an example for the younger generations.
A logical analysis may show that Marlow lied to avoid the unpleasant situation, based on the universal law that what ought to be done in any situation depends on the consequences that may produce from it. If we apply this standard of avoiding difficult situations by telling lies no one would trust anything said by somebody.

Both stories present to us an almost parallel situation in two different worlds. Both have something to stretch out. The otherness of an individual or a group, the mask that mostly covers individuals or a dominating group and the crisis for authority being one and the same in both stories can all be a clue to what people should really seek for, a critical mind that will protect man from being dominated by abusive dreams and selfish acts.
Dee thinks she knows exactly who Maggie and her mother are, but in reality is too wrapped up in herself to understand anything. Dee always wanted to be different. By connecting with her African roots, she became not only different but special. What she never realized was her mother and Maggie were special too.

In Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, the main character Marlow continuously calls into question the modern assumptions that are made by his listeners as well as his readers, blurring the lines between inward and outward, civilized and savage and, most especially, dark and light. The author of the paper states that when Claude McKay was just twenty years old, he published his first book of verses titled “Songs of Jamaica” which dealt with his impressions of Black life in America. He wrote on various subjects that included love and romance using very passionate language.
Each of these stories also features a battle between guilt and innocence, as this guilt if often represented by the evil actions of the characters. The ideals that are set forth by Christianity are also explored, as in both narratives, certain characters who claim to be Christian, do not act in this manner.
Many writers for children will make clear distinctions between one state of being and another as a means of appealing to this inherent nature of the child. A good example of this is telling the story about a pig and a wolf, wherein the known characteristics of each animal are transferred into the personality of the character discussed.
