Currently, the social media plays an important role of horrific persuasion, thus acting as a symbolic interactionism due to the application of technology in developing interpersonal relationship and communication. Notably, the majority of World population is armed with the so called apparatus, which are the devices that are able to provide a variety of services within their reach. Issues such as online shopping, social networking among many others have formed the basis of interpersonal communication. Turning to the Super Sad True Love Story, it is utterly ridiculous, funny but perhaps real. The author depicted that the current world is characterized by profound literacy that is seen as a commonplace for many people. Another symbolic interactionism that the author used in his work is the Lenny Hawks’ immorality. According to the author, his fixating argument that one is able to attain immorality is a way of making one avoid such actions. Ironically, Lenny lives in a community where the people did not regard the old age. The author portrays the community to be formed immediately the rapture had been completed, thus making it sound ridiculous. A Story about Love
...with this example that love occurs without any regard for sensibilities or the idea of right and wrong. This is certainly true since love is often considered a maddening predicament which has no room for rank or social standing and even practicalities become mere inconveniences when it comes to love (Chekhov, 1918). I feel that this is a very idealistic approach to love which may not really exist in the real world where practicalities often become more important than love itself. As per the story told by Chekhov (1918), love demands sacrifices and it demands that the lovers be prepared to give up on...

True Story of the Cross
...True Story of the Cross The cross has been the primary symbol of Christianity. The core of the gospel is the death of Jesus for the sins of humankind. However, this is not good news to the rest of culture (Keller, 194). There lacks an understanding by such cultures as to why Jesus had to die on the cross so that the sins of man could be forgiven. They consider that if God does exist and is all-powerful, then he ought to have forgiven such sins, without having his son die. More to this is the argument by some liberal Protestants theologians that there is no significance of the cross in Christianity. The reason for Jesus death on the cross however, is the fact that the sins of humanity had to be borne by...

Kate's Longing For True-Love
...Kate's Longing For True-Love In the play “The Taming of the Shrew”, Shakespeare depicts a positive assessment of the relationship between Petruchio and Kate. Throughout the play, it is evident that Petruchio rescues Kate from a miserable social life marked by ridicule and scorn. Using his exclusive, yet unique taming methods, he shows her how to create a more fulfilling, private life with him. This transformation is due to Petruchio’s excessive and superfluous kindness towards Kate and cruelty towards all others who treated her imperfectly. Although Kate feels that nobody should be able to control her actions – the main reason for her being called an “impatient shrew” by those close to her, she portrays...
