The legal and religious values have the significant power to keep people on the right road. However, they might still be inclined to defy normal settings of their existence for the esteemed purpose of having fun. The activities of hard partying with cocktails and drugs is a norm in modern America (Thom, 418), but drug usage lasts for limited period of time because everyone is aware that legal system takes these offenses very seriously in modern times. The drug-dealers spoil the whole society in order to make dirty money. According to human psychology of basic nature, the people do not start big in terms of criminal and drug usage as well. In this way, they have to hold the gun in early days to become a professional hitter in the later years so legal mechanism attempts to kill the evil in the bud because over there, it is easy to control and manage. Media and Law Enforcement The law enforcement related series have caused the crime rates to drop significantly in recent years because the audience has developed a belief that perfect crime is an impossibility and they make a conscious effort to remain out of trouble. The legal rules act on the basis of fear in order to motivate the general public to stay away from the criminal activities. The fear can be a strong motivator, and humans do not perform those activities with, which they have a realization that serious ramifications are attached with those choices in the long-run perspective. The life of crime can be very hard for innocent souls, and therefore, many of them can throw-up in the early stage of their crime lives (Hopfer, 00). However, many people have a tendency to quit illegalities at the first sign of trouble because they do not have the hearts to risk their whole lives in order to prove their manhood to the world. Additionally, the strength of law and order does not let anyone to take affairs in their own hands, and the legal system of the developed nations have a record of being ruthless and strict towards those whom have committed crimes regardless of the nature and magnitudes of the actions. Value of Fear: Reasons not to Legalize Marijuana In this way, fear is the defining element of modern legislation, and the system is working quite well with reference to its efficiency in catching all types of criminals. The legalization of drugs can lift the lid over the actions of the youngsters whom have the urge to try new things and adventures, and once they have a realization that marijuana is legal to use then, they will jump on the opportunity at once (Gottlieb, 118). With the passage of time, they will grow bored from the drug, and will initiate to search strong and dynamic alternative. The legalized marijuana will act as a gateway to enter more serious drug usages, and one never knows that these directionless children might end up as drug-lords in the distant future because they were allowed by the authorities to use marijuana legally (Barry, Hiilamo and Glantz, 211). The risks with legalization of the featured drug are immense in nature, and therefore, the authorities must not listen and they should not proceed with the plan to legalize the supplement at any time and against any cost too. However, the medical marijuana is permitted due to its chemo-physical properties that help in psycho healing and recovery of the mental patients. The compound works to sooth the tensed nerves, and in this manner, assists the tensed souls in relaxing. The need to relax is notable in mentally disturbed, but too much of that in normal people can lead to addiction. The doctors and psychiatrists keep the dosage of the drug limited to the levels that cannot cause the growth of addiction in the subjects. Additionally, the same mechanism of fear can be deployed to prevent the students to develop any kind of addiction whatsoever, and therefore, the motivational elements go a long way in terms of stopping the development of any addictions. The parents and teachers can keep their children and students motivated and they should help them in the process of fighting hopelessness and pessimistic behaviors. The management of positive emotions can cause the kids to develop progressive self-image and esteem that will eventually cancel all tendencies of self-harm in the children and they can have the fulfilling lives that they deserve. The element of faith and belief in the presence of good in the world can also heal the broken hearts. The church has to take a leading role in this regard because they can cancel all fears and bless the believers with the gift of faith (Bartkowski, Ramos-Wada and Ellison, 345). The legalization of marijuana will not make any powerful difference because the next generation is already using the drug, and they need therapeutic help in order to overcome their partial addiction (Stern, 332). At this sensitive stage, legalization of marijuana will cement the addiction, and the children will take their addiction to the next level because of fear will be removed when the drug will become a permissible supplement in the society. The nonusers will start using the drug only for the sake of enjoyment. Their addiction will transform into an awful habit, and therefore, they will grow an urge to try all the drugs and stimulants in the world in order to get high, but at the end, they will no longer experience satisfaction with any of the options. Their lives become meaningless, purposeless, and colorless altogether. Role of Teachers and Parents as Mentors The element of societal and romantic love can only have the strength to heal them at the final stage of addiction. However, the severe head-cases do not heal and they have to waste their lives so the whole idea is to prevent the children from developing any sort of addiction by providing them with constant love and support throughout their lives. The parents have to play the most valuable hand in this regard because they cannot live the lives of their kids, but they can remain available at all times so that their juniors can talk to them about their problems and issues in life. The parents have to bandage the emotional injuries of their offspring, and give them hope of good times that are yet to come (Peck, 176). The addiction occurs due to a very specific set of circumstances, and the most prominent one in the whole journey from hopefulness to hopelessness takes place because of lack of hope. The addicts of any type reaches his or her current position due to the absence of belief that he or she is not able to learn and grow. The sense of guilt remains a defining cause of addiction, and the parents have to teach their children that they have to let go of the mistakes that they have committed in the past. They have to educate their next generation that they have to focus on the present and they do not have to waste time in second guessing themselves about what they could have done differently in the previous encounters with life. The persons who are filled with guilt cannot see opportunities to better themselves in the present, but they keep on dwelling about the past, and eventually decide to torture themselves by using drugs and stimulants. Psycho Variables Related to Drug Usage Too much of anything is harmful, and in the light of application of the same principle, one can argue that the children must not become too happy and at the same time, they do not have to pick the bag of sorrows with them. The persons have to live for an objective, and make a constant level of effort in terms of achieving what they have to achieve in life. The objectified living is a successful one indeed (Shim, Wang and Cassady, 842). There is no importance of success and failure, and the only thing that matters is the wish and will to play the game of life. The people who enjoy every bit of their lives might not succeed at anything else, but they will remain successful at living. The humans have to live all the time, and the sense of life is strongly integrated with presence of happiness in life. The organizations are busy in applying the concept of life within their culture. The employees are enjoying their jobs at world’s leading technological giants such as Google and Microsoft. The addicts can learn a lot from the abovementioned companies that have made considerable amount of struggle in terms of making the stay of the employees enjoyable with them. The homes and schools have to follow the same organizational model so that children and students do not feel boredom and heartbreak. Both of the developments can lead to creation of hopelessness that will in turn cause them to take a road towards addiction of one kind or another. However, when the marijuana will be freely available in the society then, the kids who have enough money to blow will use the drug, and in a few years, they will become fully grown addicts. The negativities in the society have to be minimized and the positivities have to be promoted in the country as well. The sense of adequateness have to prevail in order to increase the life satisfaction of the next generation who are prime target of addictive behaviors in the whole world. The youngsters have to understand the fact that nothing is greater than themselves in life, if they have the energy and courage to apply themselves and their talents in the practicalized manner.
