Abu Dhabi police force and the challenges and risks faced Abu Dhabi police is a law enforcement agency found in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and it is responsible at enhancing public safety, enforcing criminal law, keeping peace and maintaining order around the Emirate. According to Lichtblau, (2004), police forces experience many risk-related challenges during law enforcement activities, such as having access to unlimited information, and lack of ability to share experiences and ideas globally. Lori, (2011), claims that, it is a challenge to clearly apply the police resources and skills in achievement of the activity, security, and order that is needed by the society. The Abu Dhabi Police need to understand the policing implications regarding the developing trends. Godwin, (2006), postulates that, the police force needs some appropriate organizational skills and expertise, structures, education, knowledge, training, equipment, reward and assessment systems, cooperative relationships, as well as right attitudes to adapt to the current changes. The Abu Dhabi police require to develop some strategies, as well as plans to be able to meet the faced challenges whereby some are related to the expectations of the public (Al-Zaabi, Choudrie, & Lebcir, 2012). The police force need to identify the future challenges through intelligent and regular studies in the society in order to understand the expected criminal acts. Some of the challenges faced by the Abu Dhabi police are related to information technology for the police force to have access to the latest information. Globalization led to increased responsibilities and roles of the police force due to expansion of global crime. There is the need of knowledge of human rights as it has to be incorporated in the law. The police force faces many risks related to corruption and bribery from the society and this is a great challenge to the organizational operation. Al-Zaabi, Choudrie, & Lebcir, (2012, pointed out that, the structure of Abu Dhabi police organization requires changes for the police force to achieve its operational mandate. How world-check can be integrated, and be used in the police force, and how, it can benefit Abu Dhabi police. World-check is an international company that provides risk-based solutions to all industries around the world. It can be integrated, and be used in the police forces, such as Abu Dhabi police through, being engaged to use its law enforcement experts to help the police force solve its problems. As articulated by Abdulla, Djebarni, & Mellahi, (2011), Abu Dhabi police faces many cases related to corruption and bribery and to win public trust, the police force needs to understand the solution to the risk. The world-check company can be integrated in the departments of the Abu Dhabi police, such as search and rescue, government and diplomatic premises protection, department of special tasks, and forensic services Alkaabi, Dissanayake, & Bird, (2011). Other departments that the world-check can be used are; criminal investigations department, department of F7, community police, directorate of patrols and traffic, vehicle and licensing, social support centre, air wing section, security inspection department, and operations department. There are other departments in Abu Dhabi that include; department of explosives and weapons, iris technology, virtual global taskforce and facial recognition system. The world-check company can be integrated in Abu Dhabi police in all departments and use solution-based approach to solve the problems faced by the police force. Involvement of the world- check company in Abu Dhabi police would help to understand the source of corruption in Abu Dhabi and help the police force to understand how bribery can end in the emirate. Hammoudi, Karani, & Littlewood, (2014), claims that, to achieve the vision 2030, Abu Dhabi emirate needs enforcement of law to end criminal acts and to have enough security in the emirate. The department of vehicle and patrols has challenges of the public engaging in unsafe road accidents. Integration of world-check Company in the department will help to understand why people engage in such activities in Abu Dhabi. It is clear from the argument of Hayes, (2013), that, the world-check company can be used in offering seminars to the police force regarding different law enforcement issues and this will help the Abu Dhabi police achieve its plans and strategies in the organizational structure. Abu Dhabi police experiences information technological problems and the use of World-check Company could help the police force to understand how to use technology to access the right and necessary information that would enhance carrying out of the police mandate. Abu Dhabi police can also use the world-check company in the department of security inspection for the police force to understand how to maintain security in the emirate, for example, Masters, (2008), in the case of golden jubilee in 2007 where there was no enough security. The integration and use of world-check Company in Abu Dhabi police may also lead to problems with privacy of police activities and this will be a disadvantage to the police force, as many will be replaced. In conclusion, World-check Company uses solution-based approaches to provide solution to risks faced by businesses and organizations. The integration and use of the world-check company website by Abu Dhabi police would help in understanding the source of challenges facing the police force and get solutions to those challenges. The use of the website will help the police force to understand bribery and corruption in the emirate and this will help Abu Dhabi police to end corruption and bribery among the dwellers of the emirate.
