The paper "Evolving Role of Regulatory Information Management through IDMP Implementation" is an outstanding example of an information technology capstone project. The study concentrated on the developing trends of Regulatory Information Management (RIM), having strong impacts on the increase of business house efficiency and effectiveness that deals with medicinal products. The study conducted herewith indicates that the developing trend of RIM, in relation to the Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP), has greatly benefited the promotion of patient’s health within the community.

In this regard, a qualitative research approach was applied to obtain adequate information about the subject emphasized, based on the information available through secondary sources. The evolving role of RIM in relation to IDMP was comprehensively studied in the literature review. Based on the review of literature, findings and analysis were generated, which were further interpreted to obtain results. As per the results obtained thus, RIM was identified as a major consideration for the identification of isolated information, so that implementation of IDMP can be accomplished successfully.

The results also revealed that IDMP is of extreme importance from the perspective of developing a healthy society and organizational development. Regulatory Information Management (RIM) is commonly referred to as a set of specific processes or tools, which are used by modern organizations with the intention of ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of new products during their lifecycle management. In the contemporary era, modern organizations have provided an enlarged focus on innovative therapies with the aim of ensuring patient safety as well as for maintaining regulatory information abiding by the applied norms of efficiency and effectiveness.

It is in this context that organizations have planned to accomplish success in the global perspective by enhancing the ability to access and use the information for improving the effectiveness of medical devices. Thus, with the assistance of RIM tools and processes, medical organizations have developed certain strategies for ensuring their best practices of reviewing the changing regulatory requirements in case of managing information.
