Analysis of the Case Study on Web 3.0 Web 3.0 also known as semantic web has this notion that we should add new types of mark up to data so as to make it have more meaning to the computers. Web 3.0 seeks to transform the web environment from a catalogue into a guiding tool through the introduction of new features that were never found in Web 1.0 and Web 2.0. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the case Entrepreneurs see a Web guided by Common Sense by John Mark Off focusing on the general overview of Web 3.0 in relation to Web 2.0 and 1.0, the potential benefits of using Web 3.0, support areas for realization of the Web 3.0 plus the drawbacks to the birth of Web 3.0 technology. Analysis of the Case Study on Web 3.0 There are differences that exist between Web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. Web 1.0 has a limited interaction between the visitors and the websites (Cookie, 2012) so users just receive information in a passive way without a chance to post their comments or reviews. Web 2.0 allows for more free interaction among users and has great difference with Web 1.0. Some of the capabilities of Web 2.0 include: allowing visitors to make changes to the web like Amazon does by allowing visitors to post information regarding product reviews, providence of a fast means to share web content like the You Tube website which lets a user to upload a video which can be watched by other visitors to the website, use of web pages in linking web pages to the social networking sites like MySpace, Twitter and Facebook and the social networks have had increased popularity because of their support for letting users to connect easily, extension of internet access capabilities beyond computers to tools like video game consoles and cell phones among others and the introduction of a faster means of getting up to date information through newsletters subscriptions forms optionally presented in certain web pages. Finally, Web 3.0 introduces a World Wide Web containing dynamic applications, inter-machine interaction and interactive services. Under Web 3.0, computers have the capability of interpreting information like the human kind then generate and distribute meaningful content structured to meet user needs. Under the present system, a set of interrelated queries could lead to long periods of search and most cases, the search results never provide a direct answer to the query. Therefore the user will be forced to read a number of the search results then try relating them. In Web 3.0, the selfsame search attempt fetches an entire vacation package which was planned meticulously as though it were assembled by a travel agent. Despite the disagreement among people concerning what web 3.0 should actually be or how it should work (Coleman, 2011), an increasing number of the start-up companies and computer scientists are already discovering new ways of mining human intelligence from the large chunk of documents resident within the worldwide web together with the links that interrelate such documents. Such a move is intended to add the guide capability to web tools and provide the basis for systems capable of operating like the human kind. This will help eliminate the catalog like behavior of the present systems. Many of the internet experts share in the belief that Web 3.0 will make search activities for things such as movies of food faster and more precise. Rather than several searches, a person can type one or two complex sentence the web 3.0 web browser then leave the rest to the web. For instance, a person wishing to enjoy skidding over the weekend then enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant would just need to type “I want to skid during the weekend then have a meal at a nearby restaurant.” Web 3.0 analyses the user’s response, searches the web for possible answers then organizes the results for presentation to the user (Ksingh, 2010). Again, suggestions will not be purely based on a keyword, it might as well suggest a topic that is closely related to your previous search and continued use of the web puts you under study by Info Agents. So, subsequent queries sent to Google would present an individual with more accurate results. Moreover, many of these experts believe that the Web 3.0 browser will act like a personal assistant. As you search the Web, the browser learns what you are interested in. The more you use the Web, the more your browser learns about you and the less specific youll need to be with your questions. Eventually you might be able to ask your browser open questions like "where should I go for lunch?" Your browser would consult its records of what you like and dislike, take into account your current location and then suggest a list of restaurants. However, embracing Web 3.0 in the web world would work against Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 meaning that many of the already existing websites could be rendered obsolete. A number of activities show support for Web 3.0. First, the present researchers seem to be having higher ambitions towards embracing Web 3.0. For instance, Radar Networks forms part of the many organizations which take time in exploiting the contents of the social computing sites thus allowing users to work together to gather and add their thoughts to a large range of content ranging from travel to movies. Second is the KnowItAll project by a group of University of Washington faculty members plus students that Google did finance is an illustration hinting on the capability of such a system if it comes into existence. The existence of the already accomplished projects like KnowItAll is a persuading factor among people who have doubt about the Web 3.0 dream coming true. Finally, many of the projects directed towards the creation of Web 3.0 are supported by very powerful computers which are fast in scouring the entire web though this has the implication that the less powerful computers will not be able to handle Web 3.0. Increased widespread support towards Web 3.0 can change the attitude of many people who still want to stick to Web 2.0 to start thinking in the Semantic Web way. Despite Web 3.0 presenting a set of benefits, there are people who have considered Web 3.0 as an unattainable dream though the underling technologies are gaining momentum in big companies such as Google and IBM as well as the small companies. Other people have considered Web 3.0 to be destructive and one such person is Bradely when he argues that Web 3.0 is destructive because if bars the organizations from exploring the several useful ways of web evolution and examining the time period and the manner in which such evolutions can be of value to the organization (Bradely, 2009). He also states that Web 2.0 will distract the mind from the crucial Web 2.0 work which needs to be accomplished and makes things look like Web 2.0 is obsolete. Conclusion Considering the widespread support for Web 3.0 by varied organizations and professionals, brighter future based on the improved search capability of Web 3.0 and the common interest to make the web based applications to mimic human intelligence and introduction of the powerful computers that are to quickly scour the whole web, Web 3.0 is the way to go and its successful birth will make automation of operations possible, say, from completion of all that you require for travel to keeping your personal records up to date.
