The form of the paper Building a PC is closer to completion than the Video Editing paper, and the table of contents is a good thing to make just for organization. I tried reformatting to create an automatic TOC and it showed me great holes in the continuity of the paper. There is only a little about the actual purpose of the paper, so that needs some expansion until it makes the paper’s purpose clear. Without the purpose, the organization is flawed, because we cannot make a map if we do not know where we are going. The paper on Building a PC is much more developed in this area, but it also needs to say more about the purpose of the paper. The writer does justify the idea that engineers need the experience of building a PC, but he still does not say why he is writing this paper. Maybe it is to provide the steps for building the PC. It does not explain very well who the audience is either, but maybe it is other engineering students.
The second part of both papers is a very big jump without a bridge. In rereading my own paper I see that without the explanation of why I am writing and what my plans are, the paper is not connected to the first part of the second part. The same is true of the paper on Building a PC. The author labels this second part the “Research Part”, so maybe he is trying to tell the reader what needs to be investigated. I see that he includes a very nice graph in comparison for parts with three companies, so I think maybe the writer is suggesting that comparison shopping needs to be done. Since he does not say this, then this part is just a catalog and may not even be needed, since the building of a PC is not dependent upon purchasing the right parts. ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...and include factors such as the greater sensitivity and interest shown by complementary therapists, the more holistic approach to care, and the personalised tailoring of treatments (Andrews, 2003, p. 345). The paper concludes with some remarks about how difficult is to fit the older peoples’ experience of complementary medicine into current theories of medical geography, because of the fluid nature of their interaction with different services, and argues for more research that takes into account some further inter-disciplinary dimensions including cultural ones. As indicated in the preliminary pages of the article, there is very little in the way of quantitative data provided, and the findings are...

Self Harm: Discussion of Research Papers

...?Self harm: Discussion of research papers The review of literature on the attitudes of nurses towards patients of self-harm, conducted as a part of this study helped me in understanding the scope and extent of the problem and its likely impact on the patient's health outcomes. I found that patients of self-harm are, at times, perceived negatively by the nurses particularly those in the A&E (Accidents and Emergency) departments. The nurses believed that the patients of self-harm are attention-seekers and do not need any immediate care. This attitude towards such patients was largely influenced by the fact that most of these nurses lacked the required training and education needed to assess the patients'...

A musical genre such as rock and roll does not simply come out of the music scene. It evolved from the moment a performance introduces a breakthrough which the audience perceived and admired due to its uniqueness. The best thing about rock music is that it is not limited to being a musical genre but some even consider it as a way of life, it is also known as a movement, a lifestyle, a culture and has the possibility of being an ideology.
