There is a growing adoption of new technologies in different companies across the globe. However, it’s important to note that several companies have switched from their old methods of production to implementation of the new computerized methods of production. This technology has been very core in different production units in various industries where the shift to more modern methods of production (Kaan, 23). Newspaper companies nowadays use computers in designing and setting the paper products that they often use to make a newspaper prototype or design which is then used to produce the final product.

However, some considerations have to be made when deciding on what kind of computer systems to use within the office environment. This is because there are very many computer systems vendors in the market currently. These vendors often produce products that differ in quality and structure but are only similar in functionality. It is therefore important to get expert advice on what should be the most appropriate hardware specifications for a product that is to be used in the company for various office purposes. In the newspaper company, the following computer systems specifications are the most appropriate for the office computer systems.

CPU - This is the central processing unit of a computer. CPUs are made of processors that vary in their effectiveness in terms of processing speed and hardware or motherboard compatibility. The recommended CPU for the office is Intel Processor. Intel processors have undue advantages over the AMD processors. This is because Intel processors enjoy better CPU gaming performance than AMD processors. Intel CPUs enjoy a stronger and good single-core performance which is always above other processors (Nyakoi, 21). The performance of a processor is the sole driving factor that should lure one into choosing certain CPUs over others. Intel CPUs enjoy good performance which makes them more appropriate for the office services. The Intel cores have a much better performance generally which gives them an edge over the other products, especially the Intel Core i5-3570k. This core can process several frames per second, about 103, which is a much better performance.

Video Card - There are mainly two types of video cards that can be used in the business environment. These are desktop cards and workshop cards. The main functional difference between the two is precision and speed. The environment dictates the preference. In the newspaper company, a workstation card is the most appropriate. This is because it offers more precision on a 100% basis. This will mean better performance.

Hard Drive - The hard drive of an enterprise computer system should preferably be SAS. This will offer an interface for adding new hard drives to the current system.

RAM type - The most appropriate is the Double Data Rate, DDR. This RAM doubles the rate at which the transfer of SDRAM through the transfer of data clock tick cycle (Kazandjieva, 45).

Motherboard- The motherboard is the interface for connecting almost all hardware with the system. The most appropriate motherboard type is the crossfire motherboard. This is because it supports simultaneous gaming and high performance with a path to upgrade the graphic cards later.

Operating systems run the machines. In this enterprise, Windows OS is the most appropriate. It offers reliable support services and also offers more compatibility with application programs.

DirectX - The most appropriate DirectX to be used is Windows DirectX. It offers the best applications programming interface.
