In Australia, like other several developed as well as developing countries of the world, developments in technologies and use of those developed technologies have been significantly improving the working conditions of the employees. These technological developments are creating a greater level of favourable effects on the development of a relationship between the clients and the business organisations (ONeill, 2011, p.24). With the help of the development of computer technologies as well as technologies related to the use of mobile phones, the IT industry in Australia is facing a significant level of favourable effects on its overall growth process.

According to the report which has been presented by the McKinsey Company after conducting research on the IT sector of the country, the Australian IT sector is largely dependent upon the development process of global technologies. This study has also revealed the fact that after the growth of the outsourcing business all over the world these technological developments have been highly beneficial for the growth of IT industry in the country (International Labour Organization, 1998, p.110). This paper is aimed at providing a detailed qualitative as well as quantitative analysis of the relationship between the growth of world technologies and the growth of the IT sector of Australia.

A large number of research papers has examined the aspects of the relationship between technological development all across the globe and their effects on the growth of the industry of Information technology and Telecommunication in Australia. These research papers have claimed that the Australian IT industry has significantly getting benefitted with the help of rapid development of the IT sector in the county. The North Ryde or the North Sydney arc is regarded as Australia’s ‘Silicon Valley’.

This area has been seeking firstly to recognise the empirical legitimacies behind the argument. This has also been seeking secondly to argue how the recognised patterns might be enlightened (Searle and De Valence, 2005, p.243). These research papers have evidenced the fact that the Sydney area certainly provides the pre-eminent place for the country’s information technology as well as the telecommunications sector which is also known as the ITT sector.
