Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) models that can be used to manage different types of projects are as follows: Linear This refers to a management approach that is a simple-based model of the Traditional Project Management (TPM) approach. The linear approach focuses on the logic that the five process groups are based on a linear type flow process (Schwalbe, 2010). That implies that the five process groups are completed in a sequential order from Scope definition to project launch to the final project stage. The Linear PMLC model cannot be easily changed.   Incremental This model is similar to the linear approach but in the incremental mode, the solutions are released as they as the project development comes to an end. However, unlike the linear approach, the incremental method allows for a change in scope (Westland, 2007). It also solves problems by releasing solutions in parts. This approach is suitable for construction management projects as it facilitates its delivery incrementally. Iterative With the Iterative model, solutions are delivered at every iteration phase. This approach is also based on the Agile Project Management approach (Westland, 2007). In an iterative approach, the solutions are not defined in advance and hence solutions become visible through client participation such as feedback that may help in delivering the solutions needed. In other words, it depends on the client's input to offer a solution that refines the design process.   I would recommend an iterative approach as it involves client t participation as well as the fact that it demands a strict timeline and accountability which guarantees project delivery within the expected time frame concerning a client’s specifications (Wysocki, 2011).
