Edu 626 Discussion Board Web ing Tools A web izing tool ware) is software that allows the web pages to be produced visually like a desktop publishing program hence it is a program that mainly assists a person when writing hypertext or even multimedia applications. The web authorizing tools contain a listing of direct links and generate the most required Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and it also enables one to create a final application by linking objects together such as text paragraphing, song or illustration.

The definition of the objects association with each other and sequencing them in the right way enables the authors to create attractive and reliable graphic applications. Most of the web authorizing tools supports a language scripting for more complex applications (Webopedia, 2011). E-Learning Authoring Systems The E-learning authoring system consists of a suite software tools that perform various functions that support the production of modules. They hold content for processing, combine the content with templates for web design, create a flexible and consistent navigation system, and control technical functionality by rendering of the special tags.

These design templates are produced using the HTML, XML and the customized markup tags (Aust and Meyen, 2005). The rendering tools normally interpret the custom markup tags and apply processes that enable installation of items that include the navigation elements, assessments of items and interactive glossary. Each exclusive tag represents a content marker that marries with the design templates so as to produce a completed module (Aust and Meyen, 2005). Learning Management Systems (LMS) The learning management systems (LMS) are frequently viewed as the starting point (critical components) of e-learning (or a blended learning program) hence it handles the delivery of e-learning courses that are self paced.

The learning management systems offer their supreme values to the organization by providing means to sequence content and by creating manageable structures for the administration staff (Siemens, 2004). Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) The learning content management system (LCMS) is a multi user environment in which the developers create, reuse, store, deliver, and manage digital learning content from a core object repository. The learning content management system (LCMS) products permit the user to develop and reuse the digital learning assets or content.

The following are the components of the learning content management system (LCMS); a learning object repository, an authoring application, administration tools, and a dynamic delivery interface (Brandon Hall Group, 2011). The learning content management systems (LCMS) are mostly used in some of the largest and most successful e-learning initiatives. It is designed to handle the creation, reuse, storage and delivery of e-learning content from the central object repository (it includes everything from conception to delivery) (Brandon Hall Group, 2011).
