Literature review: Broadband technologies have found large usage in recent times with regard to their application in the healthcare organizations. A report published late in the 20th century revealed that large number of human lives was lost due to errors as a result of manual operations and lack of technology. Citing this, stress has been laid on bringing about digital trends in the health care field for the purpose of improving the healthcare functions. Wireless technology and VOIP are two of the recommended functions in this regard (Meru, 2006). Faxcom is one similar device that allows the patients staying in touch with the health care center.
