Every company is looking to develop a highly prosperous economy that can actually help in reducing the gap between the different levels of the society and increase cohesion within the society. To make the company progress it is very important that the company contains businesses that are productive, and that there exists no redundancy in the businesses. To ensure that the businesses are progressive, there needs to be check and balance on the people that are entering the workforce. A company cannot hire simply to fill the vacancies, but it also needs to hire according to their needs and specifications (Piskurich, 2009).

The industry today is quite fast paced and it has become crucial and as well necessary to keep in mind the newer demands that are cropping up. For that the employers need to focus on training as an important aspect of any organization’s human resource department. Training in earlier decades was a smaller part of any human resource department but with the passage of time it has emerged as key element to focus, so that the organization can continue to focus in the right direction (Buckley and Caple, 2009).

Diversity is a very pressing issue that organizations face today and have been facing for quite some time. There are many forms of diversity that organizations can practice. Some of them are based on gender, some on race, cast and then color of the skin. Having a diverse culture in an organization is not an easy task, there are a lot of challenges that organizations can face to be able to properly implement diversity. There are many people who preach diversity but are unable to actually implement it in their organization. Implementing the diverse culture means having tolerance for people in this co working environment, and colleagues who are different than you and have different backgrounds, and possibly in some cases different work ethics as well (Laird, Naquin and Holton, 2003).

With increased globalization, organizations seek to establish diversity in their organization as they see it as an investment. But it is also very crucial for the management to understand that though there are a lot of benefits of diversity in the organization but there are a lot of complications as well. There are a lot of companies who are aiming to focus on diversity the sole reason being that have a diverse work environment boosts productivity and also helps in achieving an edge over the competitors. Today organizations that have high diversity are the ones that are considered as global organizations.

The fact that organizations need to become tolerable can also be justified by the current legal proceedings. There are a lot of legislations that have been passed that simply demand the organizations to have equal opportunity employment policy. They should differentiate when they are hiring on the basis of gender, cast, color, sexual orientation and physical handicapped( until the job cannot be performed) (Buckley and Caple, 2009).

Today, the race among companies is about global skills. Many multinational companies, especially the well-established ones had well to do balance sheets, and thus they were able to think beyond the necessities of making ends meet and develop high end technologies to improve their company’s finances.

There are many theories relating to earning techniques but it is important that the right kind of theory is utilized at the right time. Education is a field that needs proper interventions if the learning is to be properly ingrained in the subject. The best learning theory that can be adopted is constructivist theory. It allows the subjects to explore their own creativity and mold the knowledge that they have gained to better uses. In this learning the person explores his own boundaries of knowledge on the subject and adopts newer measures through practical learning to enhance their personal skills. Problem solving, analysis and reflections help in gaining in-depth knowledge on the subjects. It is a very practical method to ingrain learning skills within the students (Hall, 2003).

Social learning is a teaching method that involves lot culture interference. In general opinions and study it is a method that can be adopted at certain levels, but not at all levels because it very restricting for learning environment. Social learning gives real good at hand practical experiences, but to a certain extent. In this era of globalization it is important that the students are made aware of cultural differences and made to adopt ways that are pertinent to the culture in which they are posted or studying.

The most suitable plan of action would be the one to chalk out a proper plan that actually aligns the demand and supply of the skills required by the vacancies that are available and as well as the industries that are prevalent in the economy. This will help identify the areas that need special attention from the employers. When there is a proper planned out schemata, the existing deficiency between the supply and demand can be gradually met (Piskurich, 2009).

It is the duty of the Human Resource department of the companies to actually identify the skill gaps that exist in the job specification and person and then train him accordingly. Training requires a lot of investment from the organization. Many organizations are not willing to spend hefty amounts in training out of fear that their money will go in vain if after training the employee shifts to some other jobs. This way the companies prefer to hire already trained staff instead of investing in training (Hall, 2003).

Training and skill development is an area that needs to be considered as an important aspect for any organization. There should be proper surveys that will help organizations identify the areas that require training. Proper training need analysis can actually help in creation of supply of labor that is relevant to the demand. Training and proper education specific to the industries will help in saving company funds in the long run. Training should not be considered as an exercise that drains the company's financials but should be considered as a tool to cater the gaps in the demand and supply of labor force (Laird, Naquin and Holton, 2003).

Google is a company with a very strong international presence and it is one the few companies that has a huge amount of diverse employees. The reason that they have been able to manage synergy in their organization is constant training and development. Training and development helps the employees to remain abreast with the trends of the corporate world. Google not only provides training to its own employees but other organizations as well. They believe that employees are the best resource and diversity is the new must in all kinds of training has made Google a place with the most competent and culturally aware employees.

There were times when the most pressing diversity that was being demanded by the organizations was on the basis of color i.e. the hiring of colored people. Now the most trending diversity that is being demanded is the equal opportunity employment on the basis of gender and sexual orientation. There are many companies that are very male oriented who do not prefer the hiring of the woman at any important position within an organization. The most they consider women is for the secretarial positions. The women are not allowed to climb the corporate ladder, the reason being that they are considered to lack the judgment that might be required to function at that management level. It is a fact that with today’s increase in technology and the constant demand of flexibility and creativity, organizations are seeking to hire women so that they can have a competitive edge over others.

There are many issues that women face when working in the corporate world. The most important is that they are considered to lack the intellect and judgmental capabilities to make important decisions. This statement and thought process simply bars the entrance of women at the higher management levels. Similarly, tasks that demand physical prowess are also considered as out of bounds for women. Though it is true to a certain extent that women tend to have lesser physical power than the men, but there is no reason in not letting them try. There are very few companies that have women at senior most positions and this is the reason women all over the world still believe that they are not being given the equal opportunity as their peers. Google has the best facilities that are available to their workers. People working in the organization are taught to remain indifferent to the differences amongst themselves and focus on the way forward. These trainings and development techniques enables them to face the changing trends with greater level of comfort ability.

When an organization is looking to implement the increase of women workforce in their organization, they also need to have the patience and tolerance to actually let the women in the organization work in a conductive environment. Change in the workplace is not usually liked by the workers and the organization should take care of that. The women should have safe and productive environment to be able to work in positively. There are some organizations that simply require the woman to "toughen" up to be able to compete in the work environment. This type of attitude is wrong. Women should be allowed to function in their own capacities and capabilities without any external pressure from the peers and the higher management. They should not be pressurized into silence and instead be encouraged to communicate if they are facing any kind of issues in the office, be it work-related or related to some colleague.

For an organization to be able to implement the change of diverse environment successfully, it is important for the mangers and the top management to realize their own biases and be able to overcome them effectively. Google has been able to maintain the balance between the proper hiring and training needs analysis to develop a well-trained and diverse workforce.
