Program title: youth training
Session title: preparation of tea
Total time: 1 hour
Objective(s): the main objective of this training session is to enable the trainees to prepare quality tea once provided with all the necessary material. The students will be required to follow the necessary safety measures while preparing tea in order to ensure that all the available materials are handled with maximum care (Neal G. et al.2005,pp 56).
Visual aids
During the session plan, the student’s visual aids will involve prepared tea that is ready to drink in order to enable the trainees to know the kind of tea that they will be expected to prepare. Visual aids are essential in a training session because they enable trainees to understand ideas in a faster manner. The other visual aid will be a chart with a flow chart of the steps followed when preparing tea. in addition, there will be a PowerPoint presentation for use in explaining the notes.
Special actions before the session
1. collect the ingredients used in tea preparation
2. get a source of fire
3. assemble the required apparatus
4. clean the location for the session
5. ensure safety of all participants
Supporting information about location, layout, equipment and materials
The session plan will involve the preparation of tea. This session plan will be conducted in a classroom in the presence of five trainees. The location will require a spacious room, toilet facilities, proper room ventilation and lighting and power access. The layout will also be simple enough in order to fit in the provided location. There will be a circular layout in order to allow the trainer to see all the trainees. The equipment and materials that will be used include sufuria, gas cookers, tables, computer and pens. Materials such as tea leaves, handouts, power point presentation, match boxes, sugar, milk, sieves and cups. The reason for the location of the session plan is because the classroom will provide a suitable place for the trainer to demonstrate various activities related to tea preparation (Delahaye B & Smith B.1998, pp 67). The trainers must collect all the relevant tea preparation materials in order to ensure that the training session does not meet some impediments.
Introduction
In a session plan, the trainer must know what they want to teach. It is also good for the trainer to understand the trainees well in order to teach them more appropriately (Hadfield L.2002, pp 743). In addition, the trainer should know what he/she wants the students to know. This will also include finding out what the students already know and what they ought to know. A trainer should also investigate the learning styles of the trainees in order to choose on the best teaching style which will enable the trainees to understand better. Moreover, the trainer has to consider the available time and facilities in order to ensure a successful session.
A session plan on the preparation of tea will require the trainers to collect all the necessary materials before the start of the session. Collection of the necessary materials will lead to a successful completion of the session plan (Delahaye B & Smith B.1998, pp 93). The trainer must provide the trainees with the necessary information that will enable them to conduct at least one self-managed activity. This will require the trainer to provide the trainees with all the necessary tea preparation details which will help the trainees to be in a position to prepare tea on their after the session. The trainer should educate the trainees on safety precautions which will enable them to prevent the occurrence of harmful things during the session. In addition, the trainer should look for the best training styles which will enable the students to grasp what will be taught with more ease.
Training activities are very essential in a session plan. They involve practical training which will enable trainees to practically exercise whatever they learn. In addition, training activities also require trainers to provide students with all the required training materials and equipment because students must know the various requirements of the training session. The assessment activity in any training session will require the participants to be instructed to conduct practical activities on their own which will require them to have a good understanding of the entire activity (Romiszowski J.2004, pp 86). While planning a session plan, the trainer must provide a good timing of the individual activities that will be involved in the session plan (Smith B & Delahaye B.1987, pp 67). In addition, the content of that is required in the training session should be manageable enough to be covered within the available time. For example, in this session plan, the content and activities of this session plan should be addressed within the available time. During a session plan, a trainer should provide trainees with optional activities that will increase the ability of the students to understand the training activity (Hadfield L.2002, pp 746). This will require the trainer to provide the learners with adequate opportunities for them to apply the skill that is acquired in the training session.

conclusion
Briefly review the entire process followed to ensure that the students fully understand everything that you have said
Remind the students about the procedure that has been followed in achieving the desired results in the session plan
Ask the students what they found difficult in the entire training session and ensure that any question raised is answered to the full satisfaction of the students.
Ensure that all the students have benefited from the training session by elaborating on any idea that the studies seem to encounter some difficulties.
Conclusion
A session plan is essential in any training activity. Trainers should ensure that they make use of a session plan in the training of any practical activity in order to make students to understand better (Romiszowski J.2004, pp 56). Before making a session plan, a trainer must estimate the time taken in the presentation. This will help the trainer to ensure that the sum of time taken in each of the individual activities does not exceed the time allowed for the session (Godfrey R.2008, pp 23). In addition, the trainer must provide an objective for designing the session plan (Dynes R.2008, pp 5). The trainer must also define the techniques and teaching styles that will be used in the session plan. The necessary content that will be used in the session plan should be graded in terms of what the students must know, what the students should know and what they could know. In addition, the trainer should ensure the availability of all the necessary materials in order to make the session plan a success. Finally, the session plan requires a logical flow of information in order for it to be successful (Delahaye B & Smith B.1998, pp 107).
