In recent times, transformational leadership had been accorded a lot of attention as a new form of leadership. Many scholars seek to understand transformational leadership and how it is being utilized by organizations in modern-day society. Transformational leaders have been defined as individuals who can develop a vision for the organization, and able to influence followers to contribute to the organization beyond their expectations (Sanders, Hopkins and Geroy.2003.pp. 25).
