The paper “Managing Diversity in Spanish and Brazilian Firms” is a sage example of human resources research paper. This study discusses how Spanish and Brazilian firms dealing with workforce diversity in the micro-management of human resources (the practice of managing teams and people using voice systems) and organizational environment is an important aspect of managing diversity. The objective of the research is derived from the analysis obtained from the view that the subject assumes organizational activities relating to diversity are not sufficient to meet the expectations and demands of employees.

The study uses constructivist and qualitative research methods in the collection and analysis of data. In addition, there are interviews conducted on the research topic. Group and individual interviews were conducted from the selected three Spanish and Brazilian companies. Generally, five research methods were employed in this research. The data analysis section used content examination supported by corporate documents and systematic observation. The study findings rule that human resource in micro-management is capable of producing effectiveness in organizational practices.

The results also indicate that listening is a key component of organizations’ voice systems. These systems foster effective dialogue in the firm, a factor that defines an improved working environment and stimulated confidence in the entire workforce. Broadly though, a researcher will be working with either a qualitative research method or quantitative research method, no matter the research strategy selected (quote). This means that the need to use either quantitative research or qualitative research is dependent on what the researcher wants to achieve in the long run.
