Since the inception and use of Manifest Destiny, it has been looked at as a concept that is filled with ambiguities and contradictions. It lauded America as a special nation who have people who are superior to other races and have been selected by God for the development of different regions all around the globe. The process was also looked at as America being a superpower where they promised their citizens land and freedom through the concept of Manifest Destiny but on the other hand, made other races and citizens deprived of the different necessities and basic things of life.
