The entire Thailand comprises with several religions; Buddhism 95%, Muslim 3.8%, Christianity 0.5%, Hinduism 0.1% and others 0.6%. Buddhism is the national religion of Thailand. The main language spoken in Thailand is ‘Tai’, also involving other spoken languages such as; Chinese, Lao, Mon-Khmer and Malay. English is also being taught as the second language in schools. The culture of Thailand strongly mixes by strongly giving the reflection of Indians along with Chinese traditions and unique Thai elements.

Each region of Thailand has its own unique culture and geographical features. The culture of Northern Thailand is influenced by Burmese culture (strongly reflecting from the historical Lanna kingdom). Northeastern Thailand is basically known for as agriculture society, characterizing in the agriculture culture itself. Southern Thailand is associated with the fishing communities. Central Thailand is the major central area involving the greatest population density of Thailand. Buddhism is the central culture of Thailand.

There are ten most popular cultural terms need to be known before entering the Thailand borders (Thailand - Thai Language, Culture, Customs and Etiquette, 2015) 10. Bathroom basics: Toilets are to be flushed by pouring water from adjacent basket. Women are to use cotton wraparound & men are to use the underwear for the purpose of outdoor bathing (SUWANVANICHKIJ, 2009) It is obvious that every country has its own food profile. Therefore, Thai cuisines are famous worldwide. Most of the countries provide a separate Thai food column in their menu.

Thai food not only focuses on the taste of the food, but also on how the food looks, it smells, how the ingredients have been used, its advantages attached to the health.
