For instance, France unleashed several landmarks celebrated today. Garnier designed the opera in Paris (1861-69) on the other hand Gilbert Scott designed the foreign office. This battle is never won and certainly it still continues as a conflict of tastes. When one get to the ninth arrondissement from the Paris Metro’s Opera stop the most profound greeting one gets comes from the gold, grinning masks that shine from the roof of Palais Garnier, that is a 19th century opera house where the art and architecture were as much a spectacle as the performances that have graced the stage.

It is inscribed with winged sculptures and golden busts of musical composers. A statue of cupid-encircled crests embedded with Napoleonic “Ns” is a part of this piece, a none-too-subtle prompt of the man who accredited the structure in 1860 as a tribute to arts and kingdom. The museum ‘Atles’ in Berlin is Karl’s work. Schinkel’s museum is a monument that depicts the connection of the people and the world morally, socially, and culturally. It is drawn from the context of three Prussian pillars of society depicted by the arsenal, palace, and cathedral.

While in the museum it is hard to ignore the buildings use of architectural prowess. The traditional forms are utilized and the ground floor has a center known as the ‘rotunda’ a direct orientation to the Museo Pio Clementino as well as the Pantheon. The large oblong exterior was unheard of at this period while its appearance suggested the use of iron inside a building. On the other hand the interior is characterized by simplicity and fragility embodied by the lightness. The sixteen columns running down the center of the room divided the huge exterior into two barrel-vaulted naves.
