Extract of sample "Terroristic Organization Number 1"

The members of the newly created organization Al Qaeda were fighting against the Soviet Union on the territory of Afghanistan. The leader of Al Qaeda was Osama bin Laden (executed in 2011). His main assistant – Ayman Muhammad Rabi az-Zawahiri – is believed to succeed in the leadership in the organization. Shura Council is in charge of the organization and consults its leader on important issues and activities. The main goals of the organization are the dethronement of the society mode in Islam countries and the creation of the Worldwide Islamic caliphate. The exact number of members is unknown. However, the members of the organization come from almost all Muslim countries in the World.

Al Qaeda is recognized as a terroristic organization by the USA and other countries. The geographical area of the organization's operation is the whole world, including Asia, Europe, Africa, North, and East America. Al Qaeda became a terroristic organization number 1 in the world after explosions in US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, which led to the deaths of 224 people and injuries of more than 4000 people (in both cities). Al Qaeda is believed to be responsible for numerous terroristic acts, including the one in the USA (attacks of the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and an attempt to destroy Capitol); explosions of the cars in Istanbul in 2003, trains in Madrid, Spain in 2004, metropolitan in London in 2005 and others.

Terrorists use violence as a means to reach their goals. Being representatives of a certain religious group, the use of violence by them is justified by "God's will". Many Muslim people suffer as well from Al Qaeda attacks. Read More
