Extract of sample "Socrates Argument on Love"

Socrates explains that love arises from the union of resources and poverty. In this context, poverty refers to any form of deprivation. Love, therefore, grows to turn into an inherent beauty. With the preliminary definition of beauty as witnessed in beautiful things and people, Socrates explains the people’s definition of beauty changes constantly with time. In such a progressive definition of love, Socrates explains that our desire for beauty results in people loving beauty itself. Such is the crescendo of love. In retrospect, Socrates’ argument about love introduces an essence of growth and development of love thus resulting in the creation of beauty in the universe. Read More
