The kings who constructed the buildings believed that they needed to come up with structures that will outdo those of other kingdoms in terms of their uniqueness and size. They invested heavily in their construction and having to demand a lot of sacrifice from their subjects during the construction process. They were built after emerging victorious in major conquest as means of stamping their authority (Campbell et. al, 102-307).
By separating themselves from the ordinary people, the kings were able to ensure their security. This is because they could easily spot their enemies when they are approaching from a distance rather than have them hide in the midst of the ordinary people. The kings were able to keep their private lives and secrets away from the ordinary people thus continuing to advance in their leadership. To create the right methodology, there is the need to identify and understand a variety of approaches in creating a well – rounded understanding of the architecture present.
