Dr. Robert P. Moses is a renowned MacArthur Award-winning educator as well as a civil rights campaigner. Additionally, He is the Founder as well as President of the Algebra Project Inc, a nationwide nonprofit devoted to enhancing the mathematical accomplishment of traditionally underrepresented communities as well as students. In addition to that, in his youthful adult life, Dr. Moses was the director of SNCC’s Mississippi Project Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), as well as the chief coordinator for the civil rights lobby group as field secretary for the SNCC. Additionally, He was the motivation at the back the Mississippi Summer Project of 1964 in planning the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP), which confronted the Mississippi regulars at the 1964 Democratic Convention.
