Exploring the 1960s Affiliation: Is distance learning equal opportunity for the global community? Distance learning is an equal opportunity for the global community. This is because students from different parts of the world get to access the same education that otherwise would not have been available in their schools. It also makes the global community more equal in the sense that knowledge is exchanged and shared from the different parts of the world and hence the students in the distance learning courses become equal and no one has a higher advantage than the other.

More schools and institutions of higher education should therefore come up with distant learning courses and discussions/ forums in order to ensure equality of their students and the global community in general (Negash, 2008).Discuss the idea that technological and medical advances could bring an end to hunger, disease, drudgery and unemployment in the U.S.Technology has been known to have great impact on all the sectors where it is implemented. This is because it makes work easier and connectivity between individuals becomes simpler and even quicker.

If technology is used in the medical field, it means that virtual doctors will be available every time and hence sick patients do not have to queue in hospitals to seek treatment which may take long to be forthcoming (Spekowius and Wendler, 2006).Technology in this field also means that genetic modifications of healthy foods with medical approval will be available and hence curb the hunger that encompasses come individuals. With technology, more people will have to be employed to work as technicians, advisers and other occupations within the medical field in order to assist majority of the people and hence end unemployment and drudgery (Cohen, Hanft, Encinosa and Spernak, 2004).
