This came as a pack of reformation on legislations that were spearheading equality on all races. Majorly behind this reformation move was Abraham Lincoln, who as had shared in the experiences of the minority of American’s. This was depicted in his early life when he strongly fought for the Wilmot Proviso, which in simplistic terms was a move to devise against slave trade and practice. Finally, the other pinpointing issue in this period is in the history of the American people, assassination of a serving president. It is within this period also that President Abraham Lincoln is assassinated, probably to sabotage or rather devalue his conquests, I guess. This was and has been one of the remarkable American leaders whose motives and actions have forever changed the American Society even to the latter times. Impacts of the historical turning points on Current American Society, Economy, politics, and culture The aforementioned eminent historical events have undeniable led to impacting implications on the American contemporary scale. It is an amazing mix of multicultural society with harmonized interests of activities. Looking at the sporting sector, for instance, the black Americans have frequently dominated the representation of America, Just as the white race have domineered others porting sectors. This when loosely interpreted may suggest otherwise, but what is evident is the fact that no race still regards the other with a stereotype, unless in few most unpopular situations. Changes most probable of the period; if Lincoln was to be in Place Suppose Abraham Lincoln had not been assassinated, there wouldn’t have been a rise in the ridge that existed to segregate the various races and classes. It was simply the fear of the Democratic Leaders whose ultimate intention was to maintain status quo in the American Society. In the first place Lincoln had already established by regulations a criteria; “The 10 % plan” that would be a basis upon which equity was first to be addressed. This he was dedicating to fully implement, but for his assassination, the tables were turned; as we can see his Read More
