With the help of the CIA, he was killed. This is one of the things that he worked so hard against. This was the entrance, control and dominance of western influences in Latin America (Anderson, p 78). He saw this as a strong form of Neo Colonialism. This exploited the Latin American people without them even knowing it. Sex and Danger in Buenos Aires: Prostitution, Family and Nation in Argentina The author of this text looks keenly into the life of many families in the nation of Argentina (Guy, p 11).

This is with consideration to the time where prostitution was legal in the country. The text describes prostitution as an economic activity that yielded very few benefits to those that practised it. This could not be compared to negatives that they all experienced when they practised this form of commerce. The book describes the effect of the class system in the region. The powerful people in society had the advantage of exploiting the poor in society. It is important to note that the poor contributed significantly to the number of unemployed.

This created a scenario where there were so many people in Argentina who were living in utter despair (Guy, p 34). This gave rise to the dominance of prostitution in the region. Gender roles were totally ignored as prostitution was made legal. This showed that the Argentine government was not keen on improving the lives of many people. This was especially the case with the women in society. They allowed the women to engage in prostitution despite the adverse effects that this had on them (Guy, p 56-59).

The legalization of prostitution at this time paid no consideration to the families and the health of the women who engaged in this type of commerce. This paved the way. The aim is to provide an in depth review into three books. They all communicate different messages but they are very important to the historical events. They are carefully written to ensure that readers get a chance to understand the current countries. This is by looking keenly at all past happenings in those countries. This is to ensure that all that read the text understand the life that he lived until he attained his leadership skills in Cuba.

The revolutionary life of Che Guevara is defined in this book. It clearly shows that he did not grow up in the most appealing conditions. He grew up in the plantations where his father worked very hard. These conditions were very frustrating for very many families that were housed in the region. Many of them sank into hopelessness, disillusionment and despair. This is one of the reasons that led many of them to drinking too much. In conclusion, it is important to note the selected book reviews address almost the same issues.

They address the fact that Latin America is one region that is plagued by abject poverty. This is the case for many of its citizens. As a result, many have chosen to improve the lives of the masses. This can be seen by the book review on Che Guevara. Many others chose to look for a quick fix solution to many of the problems that they face. This entails engaging in social vices that include prostitution, homicide and drug abuse. All these activities do not improve the lives of the people in any way; they retard the economic and social progress of these countries that form the entire continent.
