For instance, if I receive a genetic test that states that I have an 85 percent chance of developing Parkinson’s disease, I will approach the associated medical experts with these results and will solicit their advice. I will ask them as to what is the realistic likelihood of me developing Parkinson’s disease and will also ask them about the medications and treatment I could avail to avoid developing Parkinson’s disease or to slow down the progress of this disease if I ever develop it.
