Thus, in this regard, the SWOT analysis of AuroraHealthcare /Aurora Vision Center has been presented in the following for comprehending its varied internal business aspects. Strengths Leadership. One key strength of Aurora Healthcare is its leadership. Aurora has established numerous councils in order to deliver proper care and effective clinical operations to the patients.

These councils perform varied functions collaboratively with senior management team and share best practices towards service quality, patient loyalty, employee satisfaction and financial performance (Ginter & Root, 2010). Information technology (IT) system. Aurora Healthcare possesses strong IT infrastructure, which might support it to attain its predetermined business objectives. The IT infrastructure of Aurora Healthcare is directly related with its service delivery and other related operations.

This particular factor would certainly act as a key source of managing the business of the healthcare organization efficiently (Aurora Health Care, 2014).Constant training. Aurora Healthcare provides constant training to its employees. This not only enhances the knowledge and the proficiency of its employees, but also fosters an effectual learning environment within the organization (Aurora Health Care, 2014). WeaknessesSystem interface. Since Aurora Healthcare is a large organization, it becomes virtually difficult for it to establish essential relationship between various departments and team members (Ginter & Root, 2010).

Centralized decision-making. It would be vital to mention that the centralized form of decision-making largely reduces the ability of Aurora Healthcare to react rapidly with the changing requirements of the patients in this modern day context (Rodrigues, 2009). Varied business units. Aurora Healthcare possesses various business units that often perform dissimilar clinical practices, which at certain times generates low level of collaboration. Furthermore, utilization of best practices is also found to be uneven in different divisions of Aurora Healthcare, resulting in offering ineffective care to the patients (Rodrigues, 2009).

Opportunities Innovativeness. Aurora Healthcare has positioned itself as a systematic innovator, which provides the opportunity to develop new ideas and improve clinical practices (Rodrigues, 2009). Customer service. For Aurora Healthcare, opportunities also exist in the area of customer service. This might be owing to the reason that it can provide customized as well as personalized healthcare services to the patients, resulting in raising their satisfaction level at large (Rodrigues, 2009).

Employee knowledge improvement. Opportunities also exist for the employees of Aurora Healthcare to enhance their respective knowledge and operational performance through gaining proper training (Rodrigues, 2009). Failure to adjust with any kind of change in healthcare business environment can result in loss of effectiveness of service delivery for Aurora Healthcare (Ginter & Root, 2010). Competition. There lay several competitors for Aurora Healthcare in the local as well as regional business markets wherein it operates.

These competitors also provide quality services to the patients. Thus, such prevalence of high business market competition might generate threat for Aurora Healthcare (Aurora Health Care, 2014). Loss of knowledge. Certain crucial factors like ineffectual training and disintegration of healthcare services can lead to loss of knowledge and therefore can harm the performance of Aurora Healthcare at large.
