Ways in which a shift from agrarian revolution to industrial revolution may impact health conditions
The shift from agrarian revolution to industrial revolution may affect health conditions in varieties of ways such as induced food scarcity and starvation that is caused by reduced agricultural practices. The shift that promotes urban settlements is also likely to cause overcrowding in the urban centers leading to poor hygiene conditions. This has a consequence of increased vulnerability to some types of diseases. Risky sexual behaviors in urban centers are also likely to increase vulnerability to sexually transmitted diseases (Edburg, p. 5, 6).
Main assumptions of the ecological model
The main assumptions of the ecological model are that factors dependently affect individuals’ behavior, and that behavior is a factor of people’s interactions with their environment (Edburg, p. 6). Read More
