Evidence- Based Practice Problem: 5 year old Joe was brought to the emergency department with complaints of fever since 4 hours. He also had mild running nose. He had no other symptoms. On examination, Joe was active, alert and playful. Temperature was 101 degree F. Ears and throat examination was normal. Systemic examination also was normal. Joes temperature needs to be brought down. Question: In children with uncomplicated fever, whether antipyretics or environmental measures is the best to bring down temperature.
