I hold a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and currently, I am a Registered Nurse with more than 2 years of experience. In addition, I have done some work as a preceptor or a trainer of new Registered Nurses, which equipped me with practical experience in this field. My role as a preceptor included demonstrating nursing actions to learners, role modeling professional dealings on the care unit, as well as providing them with timely and suitable feedback. I was also responsible for providing learners with an environment that is conducive to learning and in determining suitable patient care assignments for them.

I also communicated with the faculty regarding the ongoing evaluation of learners’ progress as well as the overall experience itself. Moreover, I was responsible for validating learners’ completion of patient care endeavors, as well as their ability to meet the expectations of the course.
