 Salisbury Eye Evaluation Project Descriptive Summary of the Abstract The report describes normal dietary intake of SEE project among the participants. It also gives an estimation of insufficient nutrient intakes that are prevalent using a probabilistic approach. The representative sample consists of elderly individuals between 65-85 years, residents of Salisbury MD. The design used was cross-sectional survey, and a food frequency questionnaire was too used to obtain nutrients of intake. Energy and proteins, percentage intake from carbohydrates protein and fat, together with intakes of vitamin A, cholesterol, carotenoid, vitamin C, riboflavin, and minerals were estimated and calculated by use of probability approach.
