Statistical analysis was performed where an x2 test for independent and variance analysis. In a two-sided test, an AP<.0.5 was considered to be significant. The results showed that on average, the blacks have lower nutrient intake and mean energy than whites. On the other hand, zinc recorded the highest inadequacy prevalence across all races and genders. Zinc was then followed by calcium, vitamin B6 and vitamin E. Vitamin C with <13% and foliate <17% were estimated to have the lowest inadequacy in all races, genders, and age categories. It was therefore concluded that in this population, race differences are evident in estimated inadequate nutrient intake prevalence. Personal Portrait of the Rodrigues Fruit Bat Descriptive Summary The Rodrigues fruit bat was said to be the rarest bat in the early 1970s. However, today, conservation efforts at captive breeding centers and Rodrigues Islands have changed that dubious description. Probably, this kind of flying fox is the cutest bat the world over. Even though typical flying foxes are generally attractive, the Rodrigues fruit bats are more attractive. ...
It has constantly moving triangular ears, a foreshortened muzzle, and liquid black eyes. The combination of all these characteristics makes it looks like a small black chow dog with wings. The Rodrigues fruit bat is normally less than a pound heavy with a 2.5-foot wingspan, their teeth designed for holding fruits and grasping. They are medium sized like other flying foxes, but they have a diminutive and beguiling appearance. Like other bats, they have an attitude when they are caught under circumstances that they do not like. The bats also have powerful lungs that produce startling screams. When removed from mist nets and during breeding do they best demonstrate this ability. Observations indicate that the duration of vocalization pitch, and volume, of the bat’s scream, is proportional to your ear’s proximity to it and your level of tiredness. The aroma is a characteristic that completes the Rodrigues fruit bats description. Whether they are hanging 100 feet high or are nested in an exhibition, the Rodrigue fruits bats carry a ripe, distinctive odor that even those who are insensitive to smell cannot pass by without noticing. The bats possess a potent scent musk so that when they rub on each other, branches and/or leaves, they leave a strong scent. This scent is used for identifying each other during social interactions.   ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Political Film Evaluation Project

...? RECOUNT A POLITICAL MOVIE EVALUATION Submitted by FILM ANNOTATION The film Recount shows democracy in action during the 2000 U.S. presidential elections. It depicts politicians pushing democratic processes to limits for party interests. Since the film has Vice President Al Gore’s campaign strategist Ron Klain (played by Kevin Stacey) as its main character, the pro-Democrat bias is manifest. Throughout the film, Democrats were heroes, while Republicans were their political nemesis. Thus, in a pre-election scene, top campaign manager of Bush utters the Republican war-cry: “The stains of Bill Clinton will be washed away, and honor and dignity will finally be restored to the White House.” At the opening scene in the...

However, the group leader is guaranteeing to put too much effort, to an extent that it will not matter if a few members of the group start to slack.
