The Same Rights to Homosexual Couples - Essay Example

The fight for equal rights was like fighting a losing battle since they waited in line overnight in cold rain to be regarded as what media-dubbed same-sex marriage marathon (Moscowitz, 2013). Gay and lesbians should have equal rights to other heterosexual couples. This means that every person should have a positive attitude toward gays and lesbians. To add on, the media should use better terms to describe gay and lesbian couples to make them fit in the normal society. Those individuals who are against same-sex marriage should be brought in to the light so as they give honor and respect to gay and lesbian couples who are normal just like heterosexual couples.

This paper retrieved information from interviews from different individuals on their views concerning gay and lesbian couples. Some of them disregard gay and lesbian couples while most of them said that gay and lesbian couples are just as normal as heterosexual couples
