3. It is scientifically proven that the universe is actually filled with a dark energy whose likelihood of existence is 99.996%. This can be evidenced by the supernovae project which states that the universe’s expansion is accelerating; Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) which argues that the universe has a spherical shape; and Large-Scale Structure which is for the opinion that the average density of matter in the universe stands at approximately 30% of its total critical density.
4. The formation of galaxies either occurs through a bottom-up or top-down process. Whereas bottom-up occurs when there are some forms of fluctuation in power spectrum at different ranges of the required physical scales; top-down process takes place when the dark matter appears to be more dominant. Also, in the bottom-up process, smaller units get a chance to come together to form larger ones. However, in top-down, the large clumps disintegrate into relatively smaller portions as the galaxies are formed.
5. Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND) refers to a theory which advocates for the modification of Newtons Laws to justify the properties of galaxies which are observed by astronomers. In my opinion, it should be regarded as an alternative to the Dark Matter because more is known about it. It has evidences which have been devised by researchers to explain exactly what it is.
