Eight (8) studies on the investigation on the effect of respiratory rehabilitation programs in Gold Coast, Australia on the Six-Minutes Walk Test (6MWT) were conducted. Specifically, the studies conducted were on the investigation of the effect of the distance improvement through the use of seven (7) studies and eight (8) groups.

In one of the studies, two (2) groups were on it. Six Minutes Walk Test was used for four hundred three (403) patients under the Pre and Post Respiratory Rehabilitation Programs in the Gold Coast Area in Australia.

The results gathered from these studies reflected whether the 6MWT is sensitive enough to the respiratory rehabilitation programs in the Gold Coast Area in Australia. To do this, meta-analysis and subgroup analysis were done on the data collected.

Before the exclusion of one study which did not provide the exact distance for pre and post-rehabilitation programs, the above were the results of the study. The measure of heterogeneity (Q) was 15.6127 with df = 7 and p = 0.0289. The measure of the between-study variation, Tau-squared, was found to be 0.0082. On the other hand, I-squared was 55.165.
