A copy of the invoice is also forwarded to the cashier. The Client makes payment to the cashier after receiving an invoice. The cashier then processes the payment and issues the client with a receipt. A copy of the receipt is issued to the casino attendant and another copy is filed. To develop the database Microsoft Office Access is used. This application will be used to develop the tables to store the data and create queries to the database. The tables to be created include; client table, service table, invoice table and the service requests table.
As indicated in the diagram, the client acts as a major entity, the attributes for this entity will include the Client_Id which is the primary key for uniquely identifying the client. Other attributes for the entity include client Name, Client contacts, and address. Other entities include invoice that has invoice number as the primary key and identifier. It also has the type of service, date and the client_Id and the name. the client_Id is the foreign key in this case. Screens provide interfaces through which the users interact with the system.
The screens allow these users to easily manipulate and access the data stored in the database. In this system an input screen that is a form is used to enter data by the cashier and the casino attendant. Reports are used to convey summarised outputs to the users such as the cashier, casino attendant and also the client. Reports are also important in decision making for the organization.
