2. Does the research involve NHS patients, resources or staff? YES / NO (please circle).
If YES, it is likely that full ethical review must be obtained from the NHS process before the research can start.

4. What is the purpose of the primary data in the dissertation / research project?
When data is collected primarily then it is known as primary research. This is mainly done through surveys and descriptions. Field work such as interviews (telephone or direct), experimental studies, observations and questionnaires are used for collection of data. Primary research is more ethical because primary research provides the actual data from which one can draw the needed inference.
5. What is/are the survey population(s)?
The survey population was 175 people.
6. How big is the sample for each of the survey populations and how was this sample arrived at?
A sample design is a definite plan in obtaining the sample from the given population. It refers to the technique or certain set of procedures of the researcher in selecting the items for sampling. Sample design may as well lay down the number of items to be included in the sample
The sample included a total of 100 men and 75 women. The median age was 50 years old.

It would be mentioned on the top of the questionnaire that please does not provide your name only location and in the interview process it would not be asked “what is your name?”
9. How will data be collected from each of the sample groups?
Through questionnaires and interviews.
10. How will data be stored and what will happen to the data at the end of the research?
Data will be stored appropriately and confidentially till the end of the research process after which data will be discarded appropriately.
11. How will confidentiality be assured for respondents?
