At the mention of New York City, a lot of things come to mind; subways, bridges, first cars, incredible apartments and skyscrapers, big dreams, glamour and glitz, politics. On the other side of the coin, New York City conjures distressful images of dashed hopes, homeless people, gangs, ever-wailing sirens and total mayhem.
