Research Paper about Bengal Tigers Bengal tigers prove to be an interesting mammal species all over the globe. It is a fact that there are more than 36 cat species present on the face of the earth and the tiger is one animal which is in the largest species without a doubt. When one studies the Bengal tiger, its sharpest sense is found to be in terms of the hearing which is essentially five times greater and much better than normal human beings (Cairns 2007). In addition, the Bengal tigers have a better and more advanced night vision perspective which allows them to see six times stronger and much more precisely than normal human beings. With flashes present on the back of the ears of these Bengal tigers, there is a direct manifestation of white spots which are apparent on their bodies. These are distinctive and give them a proper look when it comes to characterizing the Bengal tigers. The need is to understand how the Bengal tigers are accurately remarked as such when there are different species present all at the same place (Author Unknown 2007). These flashes on their bodies make them stand out separately from other tiger species present in different regions of the world. Their diet usually is comprised of wild cattle which is called as gaur, wild deer, a few young elephant species, monkeys, birds, porcupines, frogs and buffalo species. They take human beings to be their biggest threats and hence the reason they also hunt for humans since they know these humans can hunt for them in big numbers. The Bengal tigers usually live within rainforests and dense grasslands. It is for this reason that they are not easily found.
