Outline Thesis Biodiversity Hotspots is made up of myriad animal and plant species. These species have distinct adaptation features that vary to a great extent. In this regard, there cannot be a single explanation of the origin all the species. IntroductionResearch has indicated that there are myriad animal as well as plantation species. The species are naturally distributed in various parts of the world and are characterized by distinct characteristic adaptation features. The distribution of the different species of plants and animals is naturally determined by climatic and weather conditions of a place.

In this regard, different countries, characterized by different environmental and climatic conditions, have unique features that attract certain plant and animal species, thus acting as favorite habitats: These habitats are usually referred as bio-diversity hotspots. This research will focus on an analysis of an article that explicates the effects of climate change in reptiles in Madagascar, as their hotspots. Topics1. Climate ChangeThe research will focus in a description of various effects of climate change in Madagascar on a general basis and how it affects the adaptation characteristics of reptiles in this region. 1. Land useLand use will also be examined in Madagascar, basically attempting to identify various uses of land use and how they affect environmental well-being of the region.

ExamplesExamples of the effects of climate change that can be identified in the region is global warming, rise in the sea level, deforestation as well as behavioral change of wild animals i.e. migration patternsExamples of land use that will be examined in the research are: Land cultivation and infrastructural development. ReasonsGlobal warming is one of the major effects of climate change; it has been considered to be the cause of sea level rise and the cause of behavioral change patterns of wild animals.

It is an imperative issue to assess in this research. Cultivation and infrastructural developments are the major land uses caused by human beings in developing nations: It is therefore important to assess these issues in the study of effects of land use patterns on the species of reptiles.
