Through undertaking this research the various environmental effects of global warming within the state become clearly understood. The experiences within other are reviewed through the research. The research will become essential in seeking to provide solutions to the adverse effects presented to the environment by global warming, upon the state of Florida. This exploratory research will seek to gather information regarding environmental effects of global warming in Florida. The information is gathered through review of existing environmental publication, exploration of the region and interviews with some interest group members.
The average temperatures across the world have been observed to rise over a long period of time. These rising temperatures have continuously presented various effects upon the environment and other social systems across the world. Greenhouse gasses have been identified as presenting the biggest challenge in contributing towards global warming. Physical effects include the increased occurrence of extreme weather cases, which have been observed. These include hurricanes, which have been associated with global warming. Oceans have also been identified as becoming more acidified by the absorption of gases causing global warming. The temperature rise has also been observed within the oceans. The state of Florida has an extensive coastline, and the global warming effects from the oceans could be available.

Effects of Global warming

... to the abnormal emission of green house gases which are resulting in global warming, finally leading to abrupt fluctuations in the climatic condition. The human civilization on its way to development has been transformed from an agricultural economy to an industrial economy (Read 33). No doubt that this transformation has increased the per capita income as well as livelihood of the human beings, however it is also associated with a cost namely ‘green house gas initiated global warming’. The paper attempts to explore the causes, impact and probable solutions of global warming. What are the green house gases? Earth’s atmosphere comprises of mainly oxygen and nitrogen. However none of them produce green house effect, as both of these gases...

Environmental Issues: Global Warming

This is the basis of much sadness that has come about within the ranks of environmental changes and has been discussed at length by the people. It has been discussed through research that trees are the single most significant aspect of the environment that actually provide some form of solace to the living beings and make the atmosphere pleasant on a consistent basis. This is the reason why trees are being planted across the board in different parts of the world where people have started to comprehend the nuances of global warming and how badly it is affecting them on an out and out level. What is even more distressing to note is the fact that global warming is getting increased with the cutting down of trees because their choppin...

... viewed another perspective it can assumed that dangerous effect of global warming is maximally inflated and even ‘doctored.’ The basic fact, which is pointed out by the sections of experts and other skeptical groups is, sun without any influence of the Greenhouse gases only warms the earth. As this process is happening for billions of years without causing any negative impacts, it is clear that the sun only contributing to the warming of the globe, and does not cause any negative effects. Opponents to the theory or even the occurrence of Global warming state that the extreme hotness and the related negative effects on the environment and the people mainly happens because of the fluctuating energy of the sun. That is, sun is emitting varied...

Global Warming effects human health

..., the scene of such alteration has enthused a great deal of fresh methodical study over the previous decade, regarding the multifaceted environmental instabilities that can effect on human comfort and wellbeing. The US Global Change Research Program (Alaska Regional Assessment Group) lately acknowledged how the numerous properties of climate change on marine ecosystems can relate and ripple over trophic planes in random ways. For instance, warming in the Arctic area has abridged the quantity of sea ice, harming existence rates for walrus and seal pups that devote portion of their life cycle on the snow. Global weather alteration is therefore a substantial accumulation to the range of ecological health threats for human race. By way...

Environmental Policies: Global Warming

.... To other animal species, there is also the change in habitats to facilitate their survival due to the negative changes in global warming. Environmental policies and global warming Environmental policies have helped in the regulation of companies and firms that contribute to causes of global warming. However, the most of the policies depend on sources of causes. These polices reduce in the involvement of human and natural causes in global warming. Additionally, biophysical environment and other natural resources have been involved in most of the causes to prevent global warming. This affects the type of impacts that global warming has on the larger population. Most of the global warming cases have caused the green house effect. This effect...

Global Warming in Florida

...Introduction Global warming is the gradual increase in the average amount of earth's temperature in atmosphere and the mass water bodies (WWF, 2007). The evidence of the global warming is marked by the increase over time in the global temperatures recorded in weather stations worldwide. Elaborate explanation of the causes and the overall results of the global warming not only in Florida but also worldwide is an active area of scientific research. However, the main cause and effects of the global warming are plain; the build-up of carbon dioxide in atmosphere trapping the heat and increasing the average temperature. In the last 100 years the average earth temperatures have risen by about 1F with predictions at 2-10F in the 21 first century...

... caused by global warming. As too carbon dioxide enters the atmosphere from traditional energy sources, and as the media pays a lot of attention, more and more people have been exploring energy alternatives in the form of wind and solar energy, as well as exploring more environmentally friendly options in their choice of building materials. Global warming has been a concern of science for more than a century, perhaps beginning with the description of the “hothouse effect,” in which early scientists predicted that the Earth’s atmosphere raised the temperature of the Earth’s surface. Global Warming and Environmental Degradation

...Global Warming and Environmental Degradation Over time degradation of the environment, specifically emission of greenhouse gases has caused global warming. This is because these gases increase temperature of the atmosphere near the earth and its troposphere; resulting in corresponding changes in climatic conditions. Fundamentally, the dangers associated with global warming are erratic changes in the weather, which are experienced in extremity, causing persistent natural disasters and extinction of species. Since the emission of these gases is due to human activities, the detrimental effects can be mitigated or gotten rid of (“Definition of global warming”). In broader terms, environmental degradation entails destruction of eco systems...

Global Warming in South Florida

The corrosion or depletion of the ozone layer allows the infrared radiations into the earth in a large amount. The gas also absorbs much of these radiations and because they are atmospheric gases they warm the planet hence global warming.
Land use in many parts of the world has resulted to these changes in the atmospheric temperatures. Deforestation has been ranked first as a major cause. Forest plays a very important role on the control of carbon dioxide gas in the air. In other terms, it is referred to as the greenhouse gas cycle. In this cycle, plants do take in oxygen during the day and releases it in the night (Aston). Cutting down of trees breaks this cycle, therefore, most of the gases released in the atmosphere remains...
