The population of King County is seventh in comparison to other counties. It accounts for nearly one-third of the population of the state. Question fiveThe population growth of the state was concentrated in specific areas including Bellevue, Kent, Federal Way and Tukwila.

Expectations are great that the concentration of the population in the county shall continue in the areas mentioned above. Question six The distance travelled by vehicles affects highway congestion in King County because of the notable increase in population. Short vehicle miles contribute to high congestion. Question seven With the increased use of vehicles, a high amount of pollution threatens the ecosystem. Gas production from fuel vehicles causes air pollution. Question eight With the population increase in the county, recreational spaces are most likely to experience congestion and possible overcrowding.

Question nine The state of Washington rates eighteenth among other states in population size. Question tenThe number of cars in King County accounts for the highest number of vehicles in the county (Metropolitan King County Council 20). Cars are the greatest contributors to congestion in King County. Question eleven salon survival in King County is notably under threat because of the increase in the use of greenhouse gas. Question twelve The residents of King County have taken measures to respond to climate change through the scientific community.

Question thirteen water quality in the county continues to get unclean because of the increasing instances of pollution from the increasing population. Question fourteen increased use of diesel and other gases as fuel continues to compromise the air quality in King County. This is because of the effects of air pollution on the environment.
