E business Infrastructure Technologies and Architectures What E-business means ? Available definitions around are trying to discriminate e-businesswith e-commerce. E-business refers to the process of using Internet and all the available technologies to transform all business processes and E-enable all business parts of the organization. It targets from value chain for an industry by acquiring, serving, and retaining customers to interacting employees, and the world wide partners at large. E-commerce can be refereed as a important but smaller part in the overall E-business architecture.

There are two major categories of E-business conducted over the Internet. The first category is the the Business-to-Business (B2B) segment and the second category is the Business-to-Consumer segment. B2B segment overshadowing the Business-to-Customer segment and provides forums or channels two businesses to join hands together like for famous suppliers networks AliBaba and TradeKey portals. Whereas our project is in the category of B2C segment. A typical Client Server Architecture provides communication channel to clients to connect with web server which is further facilitated by Databases and App server Fig 1 (Loudan & Loudan, 2010) Fig 1.

A variety of platforms are available today to for different tiers for client server application. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL all provides competitive database solutions and guarantees load balancing, security, authentication, backup and retrievals, and all other aspects required for huge databases. These databases supports variety of application development environment to be run integrate with them. A brief summary can be seen in the following fig. 2 given by (Loudan &Loudan, 2010) Fig 2.
