?The phenomenon of global jihad will cease with the elimination of Al Qaeda. Discuss Introduction Al-Qaeda has been a militant organization for quitea while now. It has ransacked the world peace by undergoing exercises and activities which have detailed the institution of sanity on a global level. Al-Qaeda has brought much mayhem within the world and the reason for the same is that the world’s most potent forces have not yet realized that there have been gross mistakes on the part of the globally acclaimed and renowned leaders. It is a fact that that Al-Qaeda is a name that has brought much destruction within the world and the people of this world would be given a huge favor if Al-Qaeda is dismantled from its roots and the people behind this menace are caught and tried for justice. This is a possible act and one that shall bring in a great deal of tolerance and reason within the different affairs of the world. What is required now is a concerted effort to set things right and avoid the talk of global jihad because it is based on mere falsification and nothing else. This paper shall discuss the very reasons why Al-Qaeda has been instrumental at creating severe problems for the different regions of the world and what possible ideological claims could be made to thwart the essence of global jihad which has meant nothing else but tyranny for the 7 billion people in this world. Global jihad’s basis comes from the discussion of understanding that it is something which will create animosity within the people because there are fanatics and extremists which believe in the dictum of Al-Qaeda nonetheless. They are of the view that Al-Qaeda is a force to reckon with and that it has been playing a good role at instilling positive vibes about the Muslim religion in the world, which is a thinking that is based on no grounds at all. Al-Qaeda has produced leaders like Osama bin Laden, Mullah Omar and others who are the source of tension and terror within the minds and hearts of the people. When the extremists think about jihad, they believe that these so-called leaders are their messiahs, which is not the case at all. However making these extremists understand the reality seems to be a very difficult task because they have been brainwashed at a very young age, and thus lack the skills to think on their own and analyze things which are important and make reason to them. If Al-Qaeda is disbanded today and the extremist leaders are caught either alive or dead, this issue will cease to exist in a very quick way. This is the reason why the allied forces are bent upon doing their best to exert the best possible force to stamp their authority and rid the world of the nuisance that exists with the name of Al-Qaeda. The Talibans who are the people that understand the philosophy that terror can win them anything in this world, and that if they do their best, they can attain any heights only if they have the Muslim philosophy in their hands. The element of terrorism seems to be the only main highlight for their related understanding levels, which is a shame at the end of the day. What the Al-Qaeda and Taliban supporters should comprehend is the fact that the world has all forms and types of people living within its folds, and thinking of these people as the followers of the religion of Islam, and that too which is not accepted by these extremists yet coined in their own peculiar way is madness to the maximum possible levels (Rid 2010). There must be a definitive definition of what extremism is and what it does not entail, because this seems to be a significant factor when one comprehends the good and the bad, and the right and the wrong. It shall bring in the debate of global jihad within the fray and put an end to the discussions that center on the premise of bringing a change which is for the entire world, as the extremists dictate through their actions and terror activities. Al-Qaeda has to come to an end to bring about a change, which is there for the benefit of all and sundry, and which shall bring in a lot of incentives for the people spread in different corners of the world. What the United States and its allied forces are doing is to stamp their authority by posting their own troops so that the terrorists are caught and nations like Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan are rid of such individuals which have become a source of terror throughout the world. If Al-Qaeda gets eliminated today, this world will heave a sigh of relief. It will not bear the immense consequences of wrath and tyranny which it has to experience at the hands of the extremists left, right and center. The evil in this world has been spread through the formation and indeed the doctrine of the Al-Qaeda and the Talibans. In essence, the discussion on global jihad will cease to exist once the Al-Qaeda is taken to task and its so-called extremist leaders are caught and put behind bars for the rest of their lives. Al-Qaeda banks greatly on the spirit of jihad and how it has been a major force for this religion for so long now. What the Al-Qaeda leaders do not understand is the fact that jihad by the truest Islamic doctrines is not fighting alone for the sake of the religion. It is indeed a war that takes place when the chips are down and when there is no other way to tackle a problem which is purely Islamic in nature and content. Therefore a great amount of energy is required to take care of the jihad issue which has come to the fore and which shall be a bone of contention in the years to come (Jenkins 2002). Al-Qaeda has to be disbanded to achieve sound results for the world and to bring about sanity within the related ranks as this is a much aspired notion by the sane leaders and the mass majority on the face of the earth. Ever since Al Qaeda came into its own, after the heinous act of September 2001 where all hell broke lose on the American frontiers, the wave of terror has engulfed the world like none other. As a matter of fact, Al Qaeda is usually held responsible each time any terrorist activity takes place and thus it is held accountable for nearly all the crimes which take place on a global level in the wake of terrorism. This is either a justified basis for the Al Qaeda as it is committing all these terror acts or there is some form of lie and deception which has been going on around the world. However one thing is for sure and that is the fact that Al Qaeda has existed to make people realize that it is absolute terror and creates the same within the West and this has been documented for time and again by different forces of the world. The West is of the view that Al Qaeda is essentially one of the most important instigators behind creating a spell of disaster and wrath within the world’s different regions, zones and territories. Evidence is available which suggests that Al Qaeda has brought in a great deal of harm than any positives for the people spread in different continents globally. More than anything else, it is the terror-soaked mindset of Al Qaeda that has made its leaders issue statements and video tapes which have revealed a lot regarding its ability to bring down the American nation and in essence assassinate all the people who are in authority positions, and specifically within the levels of the government and its related machinery. What is even worse is the fact that Al Qaeda has been carrying out suicide activities and missions which have meant further terror for the people of the world. This is a very alarming aspect which has turned heads and which has asked people to concentrate on the magnanimity of the terror that Al Qaeda brings to the global fore. It has not even killed the innocent souls within Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran but has also carried out heinous activities in the name of global jihad in many nations of the world. Because of these issues, the people have become hostage within their homes. The war which was initiated by Al Qaeda in the name of global jihad just does not see an end coming. It is a pertinent fact that crime is essentially the sole requirement which makes one a part of the Al Qaeda mindset. It looks that the Al Qaeda fraternity has no belief whatsoever in having tranquility and peace within the world’s different territories, zones and neighborhoods (Bergen 2010). For this reason, the West seems justified in having a biased perspective of the Al Qaeda regime because this terrorist wing has been unable to do anything noteworthy as it aims to do away with the impression in entirety. The West simply hates the very existence of Al Qaeda as it believes this terror organization exists to satisfy the whims of the forces which are evil in nature and which shall bring about absolute wrath to the fabric of this world. It is a fact that peace remains aloof and quite an opposite terminology when one deciphers how Al Qaeda functions and what kind of offences they are committing, day in and day out. Global jihad is a phenomenon which does not have a basis in entirety as it exists to destroy the social fabric of nationhood and the relations that exist amongst the people. Therefore Al Qaeda must be banned because it exists to demean the people of this world and takes them for granted because there is nothing good that they can manifest in essence. Due to these problems and issues, the Western societies are undertaking actions and measures to resolve these predicaments which have essentially marred the basis of tranquil and peace within the different countries of the world. It would be apt to justify here that the West has a very solid perspective in relation with the existence of Al Qaeda due to the fact that it has made people suffer in different nook and corners of the world. The aspect of global jihad does not fit well with the Al Qaeda philosophy because what people believe in at the end of the day is nothing else but peace for the sake of the entire world (Mccabe 2010). Global jihad breaks immense havoc on the people of this world because what they have learned about jihad is that it is a war which is justified and ‘right’ by all means. It is not something that will manifest itself in letter and spirit when there is a dire need to fight with the odds at their worst. Global jihad is detested because the true meaning of jihad is not understood in the most appropriate sense. What is required now is to decipher how people should related global jihad with Islam and what seem to be the disconnecting features between the two. Since Islam as a religion does not believe in spreading hate speech and terror amongst the different colonies of the world, global jihad is a flawed phenomenon for all the right reasons. This is the reason why global jihad is not understood in a manner that the terrorists want it to be analyzed, followed and ultimately be coined within the whole world (Hewitt 2002). Therefore global jihad is a flawed and indeed failed phenomenon which does not have any implications on the people of this world. However its size becomes enormous only when there are terrorism-related events taking place in different global territories, and when bombings and killings become a norm for all the wrong reasons. Countries like Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan are the worst hit since there are drone attacks, massive killings and assassinations taking place – all in the name of this phenomenon that one knows by global jihad. Conclusion In the end, it would be fair to summarize the essay by suggesting that global jihad is a flawed and erroneous phenomenon which has not believed in humanity at all. It has marred the different societies of the world as the buzzword and the big idea is to kill people and bring in destruction at the expense of their peace and tranquility. This is a very inhuman act and one that seems to find no justifications within the related ranks of global peace. All said and done, the phenomenon of global jihad seems to be going nowhere because there is lack of proper knowledge and information and people do not adhere to what these Al Qaeda leaders have to suggest, generally. However there are some extremists and fanatics in different parts of the world which seem to think otherwise, and thus commit into doing things to justify their acts which are nothing but barbaric in nature and entirety (Smith 2002). Therefore this phenomenon will go down the drain once Al Qaeda is uprooted and eliminated from the face of this world. It will bring in a great amount of harmony and peace within this world and hence people from different walks of life will heave a sigh of relief. This indeed must reign supreme for the success of the entire world. Bibliography Bergen, Peter (2010). The Almanac of Al Qaeda. Foreign Policy, May-June Hewitt, Christopher (2002).
