My mother’s name is Amena and she is 49 years old. My grandparents did tell me that right from her childhood she was an exceptional child who was always fond of learning new things. In a social context, my mother also happened to be a really bonding person who liked interacting with people and making new friends. She strongly believed that one should work hard and must do one’s best to serve the community in which one is born. She was very much admired by her friends and relatives who considered her to be an intelligent and loving person and took her to be an admirable personality. My Hero Candide

...?My Hero Candide Identifying the literary hero Candide in the novel by French Voltaire would not pose any difficulty since the person of Candide dominates the story from beginning to end. In the same vein, if Candide is the novel’s hero, Cunegonde is easily the heroine. But to put a characterization on Candide for purposes of describing a true and authentic hero would require setting Candide up to the standards of what a true and authentic hero is. My concept of a hero is one who is morally upright, is resolute and steadfast in his convictions, stands up for others who are aggrieved or for whom he is...

My ideal hero

...My ideal hero Harry Potter: A Child Hero Who Reflects the Common through the Uncommon When Harry Potter was introduced to the world, he began as the boy who lived under the stairs, his bedroom a cupboard. He was a child who was displaced, one who is not a part of the extended family that he lives with, and under the oppression of the obvious favoritism that is shown to his cousin, the child of the aunt and uncle with whom he lives. Harry was a slight framed boy who wore glasses and whose life sped by without much in the way of acknowledgment. Most people can relate to this boy in one way or another. In the beginning of his story, Harry is the boy whose life is bland, mundane, and without a significant public set of experiences... in which...

My Goals in Life

...My Goals in Life It has been said that, only the goals that are written down get achieved; therefore, I have decided to put mine in writing and draft the way forward. Life is all about goals and achieving what one has set out to do. However, just noting the goals down will not get one to the place they want to be. In addition to the goals that one has set, there must be clear guidelines on how one plan to achieve them and a time factor as well. Meaning that goals cannot be defined as lifelong goals per se, they are either short term or long term goals. The difference between these two types of goals is; short term goals are meant to be achieved in the near future, i.e. a couple of weeks...

My life sounds like

...My life sounds like Christina Aguilera inspires me when she sings “Beautiful.” The words in the song assure me that, despite what other people say about me, I am special and unique. The words “I am beautiful no matter what they say,” and “words can’t bring me down” assure me of the ability to accomplish my dreams despite the hurdles that I may face. Difficulties form part of the world, and I have to face them with confidence. No matter what insecurities dominate my mind, especially with the risks associated with aviation (Flouris & Lock, 297). The song keeps on assuring me that I should not listen to the negative things that people say about my life, but take courage at all times. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/christinaaguilera... ...
