 The media is an aiding tool that helps understand the value of a strong thesis statement. The media tells us what a thesis statement is, how it guides the reader and how a writer can write a thesis statement. The media tells that essay writing is a step by step process that if followed would make sense to the reader. A good essay should start with a question and the answer should be the essence of the essay; the thesis statement. A good thesis statement is strong, specific and not a question. It is an opinion the writer has and the writer makes it more interesting by adding at least three supporting ideas that make the thesis statement more specific. The statement should not be fact, it should not be vague, the writer should have conviction in it and it should be an opinion based on the writer’s feelings.
The media improved my writing skills by leaps and bounds. I learned the jest of writing a potent thesis statement. The information of the media also helped me in writing specific thesis statements. Prior to going through the media by essays were broad and vague. Now I have learned to write a thesis statement that would captivate the reader and he would ask for ore. I also learned how to prove my thesis statement by providing supporting ideas.
The written articles tell us that an essay is a structural thing which follows li near data. The article teaches us how to answer what, how and why. They also teach us how an essay is mapped so the reader does not loose way and become uninterested. The videos teach us that essay writing involves primarily a question, the answer in the form of a thesis statement, the body which describes the main idea with help of supporting ideas and lastly the conclusion. The power point presentations in my view were more descriptive and easy to understand. The font of the power point was appealing. The language and examples used in the presentations were more effective. The usage of examples in the presentations made them the best choice for me. Read More
