Analysis of Bosch Company Introduction Bosch Company is a German multinational company founded by Robert Bosch in the year 1886, and its headquarters are located in Stuttgart. Through research carried out in the year 2011, Bosch Company has been identified as the best and largest in the production of automotive products in the whole world (Denton). Its products range from automotive components, building products and industrial products. Examples of these products include the electronics, power tools, generators, brakes, electrical drives, household items, starter motors, among other products. The company has spread globally and has established its outlets in more than sixty countries. Consequently, it has also employed over 306,000 employees who work tirelessly for the success of this company (Savitz 12-56). The company has a clear vision and mission statements that motivate all employees to work harder in ensuring that it progresses positively. The company started as a workshop for engineering but later opened other branches in London, Paris, and New York due to its speedy growth. The company majors on specific technological business sectors, which include the Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology, Automation Technology, and the Packaging Technological sector (De Tolnay). Vision Bosch Company's vision is to improve the lives of all people through technological advancement and development. Robert Bosch main intention was to promote the moral and physical development of the society so that individuals may endure all kinds of hardship and become productive members later in their lives. The vision of Bosch Company was to ensure that most of the society members lived with dignity, consequently leading a quality life and enhancing sustainable advancement in the future through industrial-technological advancement (Savitz 12-56). Consequently, the company aims at improving the economic development of the nation by enhancing financial interdependence and cultural diversification. Additionally, it promotes economic development with the intention of overcoming its challenges and improving the strength of the company. The vision of the company guides it and directs it towards achieving success in the end (De Tolnay). It also acts as a foundation to structural changes in the company consequently resulting to its growth and development. Mission The company's mission steers it towards achieving success since it directs its efforts towards reaching its goals and objectives. The company's mission is to ensure constant improvement in their position as it maintains the production of quality and competitive products. It also ensures that it uses QIK, which stands for Quality, Innovative, and Customer orientated strategies to summarize its mission. All products of the company are tested their qualities to ensure that they are perfect and fit to be sold in the market; consequently, it allows innovation of new products to promote and increase development skills, which result to production of these quality products. All members of the company are also focused to enhance continuous development and emerge better and stronger than their competitors in the market. Consequently, Bosch Company intends to maintain all its customers by providing the best services and keeping all their promises. Maintaining the mission of the company leads to long-term profits and ensures continuous growth and development (Bosch worldwide-About us)  Objectives Bosch Company plans to major on industrial and building technologies through the production of high-quality products in order to spread its business markets to new locations in the near future. Additionally, the company outlines a long-term plan that assists it in achieving success through its business activities. Its objectives aim at maintaining economic independence and preserving their freedom of entrepreneurship forever. Bosch Company also aims at protecting the environment during its production processes. It ensures that its production process does not affect the environmental condition negatively through the release of harmful gases, smoke, or the destruction of water bodies and lands (Wakefield 56). Consumer protection is also a key issue as the company focuses on maintaining its customers by keeping to their promises, providing high-quality products and protecting their health conditions maximally. In addition, the company also aims at complying with all the legal requirements by the law and ensuring that it fulfils all its promises to its customers (Bosch worldwide-About us).  Leadership styles Bosch Company founder, Robert Bosch, and all its leaders are determined in ensuring the company succeeds in all its activities. All the leaders maintain positive values, gearing the company towards achieving its goals and objectives. All the employees in the organization maintain these positive values while doing all the business activities. The positive values portrayed by all the leaders of this organization include fairness, responsibility, focus, determination, trust, openness, cultural diversity, reliable, credible, among many others (Wakefield 12). Corporate culture The company interprets its culture as maintaining a positive global and local tradition perspective with the motive of creating a favorable working condition. The company has many branches worldwide hence required to maintain a high moral standard to keep it growing. The company always ensures that it maintains its cultural values positive to create a good public impression. Consequently, it can get more customers buying their products from all over the world leading to increased profits. The culture of this company increases the bond between the workers, customers and its management, consequently making the bond special and unique. It is through maintaining an excellent culture that the company has been able to succeed even in the new countries (Bosch worldwide-About us). Programmed vs. non-programmed decision making The company is always careful to make sure that it makes the right decisions in every situation that comes along. In this case, there are two ways of decision-making methods, which include the Programmed decision making and the non-programmed decision making processes. The programmed decision making processes are decisions made from predetermined rules based on previous routines and experiences. Consequently, the company has adequate knowledge on handling the problem hence do not have trouble while handling the situation. The problems may arise from habitual behaviors by employees or complains by the customers. Bosch Company ensures that it makes right programmed decisions basing on previous and on related problems (De Tolnay). The decision-making process is always easy since the company is aware of how to handle each specific problem. In cases where employees or customers have problems, the company can handle the issue carefully and perfectly through programmed decision-making processes. However, problems that have never been experienced by the company before require the use of non-programmed decision-making processes to solve them adequately.
