Emotional Connection in Feed In my opinion there is invincible gap in emotional connection which is a major theme in Feed depends on complex relationships within Feeds community. Titus’s friendship with Link, Marty, Calista, Loga and Quendy is based on common interests either sharing a particular history or belong to a particular virtual community. They share feed technology and teenage life growing up together going to the same school and the y also use the feed to guide their daily activities.

The basis of their friendship is by simple proximity since they find themselves together sharing a common history being in school together. Violet and Titus’s relationship is different since violet has a completely different way of doing things from Titus’s friends she is has no common history with Titus’s friends however belong to the same virtual feeds community. In my opinion Violet introduces Titus’s to new look of things as stand-alone independent choices.Titus’s idea of love is through feeds where the share a lot of trendy stuffs in my opinion this is not love on the other hand violet loves Titus’s she believes in emotional connection.

Titus’s has poor familial relationships he doesn’t give attention to his family in my opinion his friendship with his teenage friends take the better of him. His family is also less concerned with his life however violet believes in emotional connection with family. Violets relationship with her father is based on emotional connection a complete contrast with her relationship to Titus.Feed interferes with Titus’s relationship to violet and his family since Titus believes life revolves around technology only on the other hand it enhances his relationship with his teenage friends.

Feed offers a virtual emotional connection which is not real and cannot stand test of times.Work cited:Anderson, M T. Feed. Somerville, Mass: Candlewick Press, 2010. Internet resource.
